daughter of eleanor and harold waldorf, a successful fashion designer and lawyer, respectively, blair waldorf has always had everything she could possibly want. she grew up with two loving parents by her side, cheering her on and encouraging her to be whoever she wanted to be. life was perfect for blair waldorf, until a bomb was dropped on her lap: her parents were getting a divorce. for the longest time, blair was bitter, sad and confused; how could her father dump her mother for a modelā¦ a male model?Ā

when it came to college, yale was the only thing that blair had eyes for, but unfortunately, luck was not on her side and she ended up getting rejected. so, much to her dismay, she ended up enrolling in nyu, where she had to face people like dan and georgina on a daily basis. but she likes to think everything happens for a reason, and hers would be that if things hadnāt happened like that, she wouldnāt have met louis. the pair have been together for some time and he recently popped the question, to which blair said yes. it all seemed perfect, but a recent spat with her new fiance over none other than chuck bass had blair pulling a āserenaā as she ran for the hamptons, trying to get herself back together for the grand wedding scene of the movie that is her life.
the queen bee of upper east side, blair waldorf is constantly on the spotlight and the subject of peopleās gossip during brunches. she knows it and she loves it. her name is frequently mentioned in gossip girl since the whoever runs the blog knows itād be stupidity to not mention upper east sideās very own queen. now that sheās engaged to a prince and months away from becoming an actual princess, blair knows that the attention on her will only get worse, but sheād be lying if she said it bothered her.

ā CHUCK BASSĀ [exes]: probably the most complicated couple to roam upper east sideās streets, chuck and blair finally called it quits. after a tortuous back and forth, they confessed that theyād always love each other but chuck decided to be the better man and let the love of his life go, knowing that sheād be happy, even if it was without him. the two havenāt seen each other since then, but theyāre bound to bump into one another sooner or later and that might just make things even moreĀ complicated for them. ā SERENA VAN DER WOODSENĀ [best friends]: the yin to blairās yang; these two have had more ups and downs in the past two years than most friends have in a lifetime. still, they know that, in the end of the day, theyāll always have each otherās shoulder to lean on. as of recently, the duo hasnāt been as close as theyād like because of their busy schedules, but with blair currently desperately needing her best friend by her side, thatās bound to change soon. ā NUMBER 24Ā [project]: blair waldorf doesnāt typically takes girls under her wing unless sheās getting something out of it, but as soon as she laid eyes on NR 24, she knew the other had it-girl potential. blair was able to convince the girl to let her work her magic and now the two have been spending quite some time together, shopping for fashionable clothes or having etiquette lessons. NR 24 still finds the whole thing a little absurd, but is slowly getting used to it. meanwhile, blair is enjoying the distraction that is giving a random girl a makeover, even though the realization that she canāt just run away from her problems is constantly looming over her, ready to hit her at the most unexpected of times.Ā
