AU where Qín Sù and Lán Xichén find comfort and companionship with each other a few years after Jin Guangyáo's downfall, brought together because they loved the same man and had to keep everything buried inside their hearts for too long.

(And perhaps Jin Rúsong actually survived and was entrusted to LXC by Yáo years earlier, hidden away under a new name... Lán Jîngyí.)

Magnolia are called "jade orchid" (玉蘭), perfect for the First Jade and cherry blossoms for QS because of the soft pink she favours.

My HCs for the Netherworld River of Oblivion (WàngChuan 忘川) and Bridge of Helplessness (NàiHé 奈何橋).

It can be taken literally or figuratively. DFS saving LLH's life in extremis

Or tracking him into the Netherworld to drag him back...unless it's to follow him to the other side.

It's about how love can lead one to the Heavens as well as into Hells willingly, with a reference to Kurukullā (and possibly Rāgarāja, both known to transform worldly lust into spiritual awakening).

Happiness, courage in adversity, placing hopes in the future.

My HC here: DFS followed the tales of a golden flower blooming in the legendary PéngLái Immortal Island 蓬萊仙島** beyond the Eastern Sea and managed to find it after an arduous journey.

Consumed by them both and combined with their respective blends of YángZhouMàn, BeiFengBáiYáng and the cleansing technics from LXY's master, it successfully cured HuaHua's poison, at the price of half of DFS's inner power***. HuaHua's hair turned totally white in the process.

I've been rewatching the first 封神 Creation of the Gods movie and the bootcamp chronicles 封神訓練營 Raising from zero (and considering a rewatch of Legend of Heroes 金庸武俠世界) since.
