My two sole survivors, the Conroy twins: Avi and Ali. I’ve seen lots of other drawings of other artists’ SS and was inspired to do my own <3 I’m in love with this game!
I've gathered some hardware for my Pip-Boy from a great website I found called Fastenal. It's great if you're like me and don't know much about nuts and screws; I just typed the names of what I needed from the list provided and found parts pretty easily (or at least I hope so). The battery and LEDs I got from LED Supply. I'm still missing a few parts and plan on getting them soon! Stay tuned! Original post from my personal Blog: http://www.lyssa-design.com/#!blog/l7nmk
I've begun gluing a couple of the pieces together, and made a short little video of the process. Once that's complete I can start sanding and then painting the pieces! It's really starting to come together, and I'm really excited to start painting! Stay tuned! 3D Prints are here!! I'm a pretty big fan of Fallout 4. When I found out there are 3D models available online to print, I just knew I had to build one! I've 3D printed before but nothing as cool as this, and I'm very excited to get started! First, if you want to make your own, the site is here to download the files and assembly. Now if you're thinking, “man I really would like to do this too, but I don't have a 3D printer...” No worries, I don't have one either. I did some research and there are a lot of companies that will 3D print for you. Unfortunately, some of the ones I found were mainly for companies and not for hobbyists, and were vague on prices. I decided to print with 3D Hubs which is a great community where you can get in contact with people who own 3D printers in your area and will print your projects for you! Now while I can't vouch for everyone on this site, but the guy I choose to work with was super responsive and knowledgeable and printed my pip-boy very quickly! Now that I have all the 3D pieces, I'm gathering the hardware aspect of the project. Stay tuned for sanding and glueing! ~ Lyssa
