Ok, ok I see my time to shine as a very large person (read: fat), THIS POST IS BULLSHIT.
It is not 'puritans' it's people helping other people with boundaries.
While yes, they should get used to fat people, but this persons REBLOGS and ART is /ALL/ unhealthily sized fat fetish content.
Having a fetish is FINE; That's allowed! More power to you! But denying it does more damage than you think.
OP openly admitted they're not a fat person. They're right, they can't speak for fat people. So don't??
I know A LOT of fat people that would rather AVOID fat fetish content -- when you don't admit it, you risk traumatizing people.
People with eating disorders.
People with trauma of being sexualized.
People who just DONT WANT TO SEE IT.
They made this post because people were warning others that they make fat fetish content. Warnings are not a beware. THAT'S NOT CANCELING YOU. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THAT.
THE WARNING WAS NOT FOR YOU.
if anything, the warnings will probably get you MORE followers that like that stuff -- but being mad at people trying to protect other people is not the move.
Telling people not to be upset, triggered or uncomfortable with your content is a very entitled thing to do. This looks bad for you OP -- and it's a huge red flag. Especially when there's proof in the reblogs:
(This isn't bashing the terrific artists by the way! They're skilled in their craft, so support them -- just don't act like it's not what it is)
Sidenote: As someone who is large and working to be healthy (max my weight was nearly 400, a few points off. I'm around 350 right now)
If I had someone tell me I should be bigger, I'd be FURIOUS. I have health complications -- being fat is perfectly fine and normal. BUT YOU HAVE TO BE HEALTHY TOO.
The 'inclusive body types' OP is talking about, is the kind on 600 lb life -- the kind where they can't move without assistance. THE KIND THAT GETS PEOPLE SICK OR KILLED. And again, they're posting it as a thin person. They don't understand how it is to REALLY be fat.
TL;DR -- OP is mad about people warning people to be cautious of their fat fetish art blog so they don't get triggered/uncomfortable and OP, in denial of it being a fetish, is hiding it behind a 'I'm supportive' narrative.
