Morgana felt her heart sink into her stomach with his words. After what just happened he was saying he was sorry for not dancing? He was either weirder than he seemed or he was genuinely upset and somehow she would like the first better. She wanted to reach put to him and say she really enjoyed the kiss and he was actually surprisingly good at it but she knew it’d make things bad. Even when she said it was a mistake he got upset, if she said it was good he’d think it meant something. It didn’t. It couldn’t.
“Maybe next time.” she offered a weak smile. “See you around, cute face.” she mumbled under her breath but she doubted he could hear.
“He’s fine, Mo!” Morgana muttered to herself as she sat at the stairs. “He’s getting food and he’s probably happy with his food. You saw him, he was fine.” she repeated, fooling herself. She nodded, agreeing with herself and got up, ready to get back to the party. She had enough time to sober up, she needed to get drunk again. “Get drunk, find a girl, make out with her, find a boy, leave and shag him.” she instructed herself. “That’ll put you in a better mood.” she lied.
She was walking down the corridor when she saw something on the ground, which she quickly identified as a male laying. “You got too drunk, didn’t ya?” she giggled, lazily walking towards the boy but the closer she got, she had a sinking feeling in her stomach. The suit was too familiar. And in a moment her fear was multiplied how that familiar suit was ruined by blood. Excessive amounts of it…
“Tilden!” she screamed, running to his side despite her heels. She dropped to her knees, her heart racing in her chest. “No no no don’t be dead please please please no!” she repeated again and again, trying to check for a pulse. A relieved but shaky sigh left her lips as she felt it under her fingertips but tears started to run down her cheeks and her hair turned blue at the tips. “Tilden wake up, stay with me. Do you hear me? Tilden please!” she cried and got up, taking off her shoes and took out her wand. “Tilden wake up - wingardium leviosa - don’t die on me, please, we’re getting help.” she sobbed and wiped her tears with the back of her hand. “Just a minute. Stay with me.” she talked as she ran towards the infirmary with a floating Tilden next to her. She hated injuries. She hated blood. She hated people getting hurt and ending up in hospital. Him bleeding and laying there unconscious was bringing back all the bad memories of Mickey and Morgana tried not to lose it for his sake. “Tilden don’t you dare die.”
Tilden went off to get some food and something to drink. It was all fun until he ran into Dorcas and Stefan. He’d told Dorcas about the kiss and then something unexpected had happened. Tilden wasn’t sure what that potion was or why Stefan had given it to him but now he was passed out on the ground and bleeding everywhere. When Morgana came by he was completely out and wouldn’t be awake for a long time.
Due to how much blood he’d lost and the time it took to get out of his system, it took a long time for Tilden to wake back up. When he woke up he immediately let out a groan and curled up. He felt awful still. His head was throbbing and he felt weak. He closed his eyes and started taking deep breaths, trying to calm himself. He was scared and sore and he wasn’t sure what was going on.
Tilden only remained calm for a few seconds before he started freaking out as the memories of why he was here came back to him. Dorcas had given him a potion. A potion that was obviously not meant to cure someone who was drunk. It was meant to hurt, but if Tilden told anyone about it then Stefan would hurt the whole school. This quickly made Tilden’s breathing pick up. “No no no no no.” He mumbled quietly.
