A metallic tap echoed out from somewhere inside the base Silas and his men were based. Where they had dragged Slingshot back too.
…
Activate security and take us to the safe house. I don’t want any of his little friends to get any ideas.
Another metallic tap then silence, pure utter silence. Something was here and hunting. The tapping might've been whoever was here testing the strength of the walls.
[Silas signaled his men to carry the prisoner into the lower parts of the base]
“I want him in the secured room with the reinforced concrete. We are not have a repeat of that Decepticon we captured”
[Silas himself climbed into an elevator and began his descent]
No steps echoed out, hard to tell whoever was here was moving at all. The silence, if there were no other sounds, would be deafening.
[Meanwhile in the secure zone at the bottom of the structure Silas stood and watched as Slingshot, still unconscious, was strapped to the ground. Various M.E.C.H scientists approached with tools of every kind preparing to cut into him. Silas jerked his head at one of the soldiers]
Wake him up.
[the soldier nodded and administered an electrical shock to the bindings. Slingshot awoke with a gasp. He tried to yank at the restraints but every time he did he was only met with another intensely painful shock]
I hope you suffer and die.
[he spat. Silas only smirked.]
Even if I do, you will not function to see it.
Slowly the hunter got lower and lower. Eventually made it the lowest part and stood at the entrance of the secure zone. Silent, calculating. Thud. Thud. Thud.
[Screaming filled the room as the scientists took metal grinders to the mech’s chassis. Saws and torches pealing away layers of plating and living metal. Some soldiers milling about routinely wiped away the pooling energon. Silas looked on with a bored smile as Slingshot’s optics flickered dimly behind his visor]
Thud, THUD.
SMASH!
Motormaster stepped in after he broke the wall. His steps slow and yet calculated as he observed everything in the room; the humans, the equipment, before his gaze finally landed on Slingshot. His engine revved and growled loudly, smog coming his smokestacks. Seeing the flier in so much pain and hurt so much, pissed him off in a way he never felt before.
[the various humans all seemed to cower except one. Silas scowled as he turned to the soldier next to him.]
I thought I told you to activate security specifically so things like that—
[he jerked his helmet toward Motormaster]
—don’t get in here.
[Meanwhile, Slingshot lay very still, chained to the ground as energon bubbles out of his wounds. He groaned slightly, seemingly not very aware]
Mean like this, Silas?
Motormaster chucked a piece of one the security measures at the soldier next to him, with such speed and velocity it impaled.
Pathetic, really.
[Silas looks on, seemingly bored]
Hm. Guards, bring him down too, his strength is impressive.
[about a dozen armed guards step forward out of the shadows]
Motormaster only glanced, seemingly not impressed. He began to approach where Slingshot was bound down and went to free him. Not caring to look where he stepped. Definitely squished quite a few of the people who didn't move in time.
Go ahead. Try.
[the soldiers began to fire at Motormaster while the smarter scientists tried to make a run for it. Silas just stood there.]
[the pool of energon on the floor around slingshot continued to grow]
He was completely unfazed by the fire on him. Didn't even make him flinch as he crouched down and grabbed one of the smarter scientists.
Repair him now and you just might get to live.
Hm, particularly more resistant than other specimens.
[he turned halfway towards the nearest scientist]
Do note that.
As for you,
[he turned back to Motormaster]
You do not get to make demands of me.
Motormaster rolled his optics, and then dropped the scientist from high place and had their bones shatter. He turned his focus to Slingshot. Never was a healer, he was meant to destroy... but maybe he could do some emergency patching. Even while being attacked.
He stomped to kill more humans as he grabbed things to try and stop Slingshot from bleeding out. To close the wounds as best he could. Didn't need him offlining. Couldn't even bear having the thought of losing Slingshot.
[Silas glanced around at the blood soaked concrete and finally seemed to realize the fact that they weren’t winning.]
M.E.C.H. tactical retreat. Now.
He finished the patch jobs best he could. Motormaster gaze then flicked over to Silas. Stood up tall and made fast steps over, lunged and grabbed Silas. He held him up high and made sure his grasp was crushing him.
You don't get to leave.
