And done? I’m not very good a choosing color. I still feel like tweaking it a bit… Pretty much done though. I’m super happy with how he turned out overall (I fixed his nose!). I feel accomplished; I have tons sketches and abandoned half-finished pieces piled up, this is the first piece I have finished in MONTHS. I’m still in a slump. I just…can’t. Just getting in front of the computer and opening a blank canvas is so hard. I want this feeling to go away. I’m going to try to push through. I don’t want to stop drawing. I don’t want this slump to affect my love for drawing. I don’t want to continue this way.

Edur is atypical for a unicorn choosing to live among the world’s other species instead of those his own kind, has no family, and is in a relationship with an elf. Extremely private person. Tougher than he looks. Has a dry sense of humor. Most people don’t get him. *Doesn’t do well with others.
“He looks like an elf though???” Yes, I know, but let me explain (￣▽￣*)ゞ At first glance, yes, he looks like an ordinary elf but…
there are slight differences. Unicorns have pale skin and either white or silvery hair. Their eye colors are either black, blue or gold. Elves on the other hand are much more varied in their appearance, much like humans. Their hair ranges from blond, brown and even black. Skin color ranges from Pale! to toasted hazel nut brown. The most common eye color–regardless of skin color–is gold but can also be green, blue, and light brown. Their ears are much larger than that of unicorns and can either point up or droop down, unicorn ears are smaller and only point up.
Now that Ive hopefully cleared that up I’ll talk specifically about ma’ boys. My unicorns are toll boys and at 6'3" Edur is a bit on the short side. All unicorns have two forms–their true (equine) form and their “humanoid” form. Though I think that seems an odd thing to say. I mean, its only humanoid from a human perspective. To elves it would be an elven form, right? So I also think unicorns themselves would have their own name for that appearance. For now I am just calling it their bipedal form.
Knowledge hungry. Many unicorns are living libraries and typically know several languages (the languages they know will depend on the area they reside in, where they’ve traveled or their own personal interests).
Isolationists. Unicorns live in close family units or tightly knit communities. Non-unicorns are generally unwelcome. Inter-species relationships aren’t frowned upon but the vast majority on unicorns don’t have the desire to form relationships with someone outside their species.
They are the only creatures capable of communicating telepathically. Very unique and intimate.
Peaceful creatures but you’d be fool to make a unicorn angry. Their strength is on par with that of dragons.
A true blue-blooded elf of the highest pedigree. This pompous head turner is the bane of the High King’s court. Though completely out of touch with the common folk he doesn’t have the same derisive attitude towards them that his peers seem to have. Competent but unreliable, he is a person who follows his own desires and as such won’t hesitate to betray you in order to achieve his goals (it’d be unwise to trust him with sensitive information).
Originally his outfit was supposed to be as loud as his personality but, you know, you can only have so many flamboyant boys on one stage. -__- He’s besties with an equally flamboyant, charmingly insufferable, yet oddly pious priest-type character of mine. Infamous in most cities they’ve decided to have a “good time” in. Keep them away from alcohol at all costs!!
