How depressing to see my favorite BJD maker discover someone is selling counterfeit copies of her favorite work. The eBay seller is stsg98 and this is the same person who has been using stolen owner photos to sell recasts.

I’ve been seeing a lot of confessions/posts popping up around in the BJD tag of people who consider themselves neutral being upset that no one is taking their “stance“ seriously

I know I made a post before about neutrality in regards to recasting, but I feel a need to bring this up again because there’s something that bothers me about those to consider themselves neutral as of recently about this

If the reason why you’re choosing to be called “neutral“ even though you buy only legit dolls is because you want no association with being called pro-artist, further solidifies why you stance can’t be taken seriously.

You fail to realize the bigger picture in all of this because you’re so focused on yourself and YOU will look. And while you’re so caught up with you trying not to lose followers or appeasing the pro-recast people, artists are getting stolen from on a monthly basis and having to compete with thieves selling their own product. But despite this fact, YOUR biggest concern is with you don’t want to be grouped up in the same party as the “big meanie” pro-artist crowd, not the people who are the direct cause of this epidemic.

See why you’re not taken seriously?

Being pro artist means you support the artists by buying only legit and that’s it. You’re not required to participate in the “drama” or the discussion, and no one is telling you have to be. But if you’re refusing to be called pro-artist and call yourself neutral solely because of the assumption we are “bullies” who create drama, then it’s already clear what side you’ve you have chosen despite you claiming you don’t have one.

What happened to not “stealing” from small artists? What happened to recasters “supposedly“ only go after larger companies? What happened to “no artist dolls”?

Because that seems like that never was the case with you people, especially now the number of single artist dolls being recast has skyrocketed in the past few years and still going.

All because you just “have to have“ that doll

Lola never deserved this and now has to deal with the fact that Gao Shun has stolen her doll and selling it for a fraction of what its worth because people giving them support to do it for their own selfish ambitions.

And before you say “but I’m not the one making the recasts dolls so why should I be blamed?“, if recast weren’t getting any kind of revenue from this business, they wouldn’t have even continue to this point. Doesn’t matter the recast sculpt you bought was from a “larger“ company, the damage is still the same. Every recast purchased from recasters like Gao Shun, Luo, or any others out there funds this business to keep going and steal from more artists and harm their business. That’s why you are and you’ll forever be held responsible for anything that happens to an artist that ends up being stolen from by a recaster.

And saying this about active recast supporters isn’t bullying or being elitist, it’s called holding you accountable for the damage you’re causing to a hobby that you claim that you “love” so much.

Ackkkk, he is so pretty :’D  As for dreads, I can make them, if you’re interested? I can show you how I do it (I either make them ‘fluffy’, like, looser dreads, or I can do them tighter and a bit tanglier looking with some styling gel)

I finally decided to restart FEH after losing my save data a while back. I lost all my beautiful 5 star units T-T but I managed to get a few replacements today. (also Shigure <3 )
