I love how Lucy's in the back, showing seven and completing the date. She always makes him whole❤
On the one hand I get why people would want Natsu and Lucy to just be friends to reflect a good m/f platonic relationship but at the same time you'd think Natsu's friendship with someone like Erza or Lucy's friendship with Gray already gets this message across
Trust me when the Lucy day art first came out, I genuinely noticed the pinkish touch to Lucy's hair and for a good few minutes I even assumed that it was deliberate. Then I figured I was looking too much into things- BUT NO! I WAS RIGHT
Mashima himself admitting that he loves adding Natsu and Lucy's colors to each other's hair 'cause he feels they're just so compatible and go really well?!
And the fact that he could've causually said he likes putting yellow and pink together instead he defined the colors as Natsu and Lucy's attributes and talked about how he loves adding their little details in each other. And he thinks it's 'cause Lucy's so close to Natsu?
