Something about being able to eat a fruit without worrying about the mess. Climbing out of the ocean and just biting into the biggest peach of your life and letting it drip all over your face and body. You can just get back into the ocean afterward to rinse off. Freeing.

Below the Seattle Monorail - Polychromos and Copic multiliner - 9 x 12 in
This project kept me busy for most of the week and, despite choosing a hot pressed water color paper instead of a smooth bristol, I’m very pleased with the outcome. This commission brought me great joy; my heart has a soft spot for anything Seattle.
Also, if anybody as tips on how to not rip the paper when I remove washi-tape, I’d be thankful!
