He was at the forefront of heliocentric research, and he believed in God.
I love how we can see that these two exist in this person so strongly.
Some notes: drew his eyes (pursuit for the truth) and his hands (his believe in God) as the focal point of the ellipsis. The starts are blur because that’s how I presume he sees them.
地動説の最前線まで行けた人が、神を信じ、地動説と教会が共存できる方法を考えていた事実に死にました。
バデーニさんがノヴァックさんに、地動説の研究が本当に異端かどうかについて話し合おうとしてた場面でも…死にました。
ノヴァックさんはラファウくん以降変わる機会はあったにも関わらず死ぬまでそれに気づけなかったのですね。
ちなみにバデーニさん視点の空なので星はぼやけてる感じです。楕円の焦点は彼の目(真実)と神への信仰心です。
