Looking at various items of mine from an archeological perspective is so strange. The various journals I keep or precious metals gifted to me by loved ones could be studied and looked at two hundred, five hundred or even a thousand years from now and kept as evidence to further understand human kind in the 2020s. I know nothing of mine will provide any superb information to archaeologists and anthropologists of the future, but it’s still fascinating to think about.

The promise ring my lover gave me that I wear as a silent vow to marriage could be set in a museum one day, or even lost in a vintage thrift store. The meaning of it lost amongst the various assumptions people will make about who might of wore in and what it might symbolize just as we do jewelry, clothes and pottery pieces made long ago.
