thinking about college applications is stressful. i wish i was done with it already. i feel like it would be easier if i was going to college this fall instead of next. there would be less anticipation. i have no clue where i will get in. i feel like it’s so random.

i would like to have a summer like this. i should make a bucket list.

i saw a girl in switzerland

her eyes sparkled in the shade

her face was glistening

like a sculpture at the d’Orsay

i passed her in a store

stepping out before i registered her

though she was priceless

i was drawn like a painter

to a flowering field

the wind called her outside

she was finally revealed

eternally pretty liked flowers that dried

she must have caught me in awe

or maybe she was looking too

when she shone at me, her light was all i saw

i burned and bloomed

she kept walking and i kept staring

she didn’t stop- she was swept in the smoke

but she did turn around and stirred the air

in my lungs but something else made me choke

maybe it was hello or an explanation of feelings

standing on that street for a long time after you were just leaving

do people like posts on tumblr or is it more of an observation thing?? asking for a friend

i enjoy their music yet i wonder “what are they saying?” because half the time it sounds like another language and the other half it sounds like when someone speaks in a dream. maybe the only song where i can make out english is in the song “heaven or las vegas” when they sing the titular line “heaven or las vegas”
