Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk

Bloody hell ! How could Mr. Palahniuk write something like this? How the hell  does his brain work ? Compilations of three different plots on one page are totally normal for this book. I admire you Mr. Palahniuk, not only for the writing but also for the super weird plot.  It aint my favourite book, I will not read it again but I admit that it indeed is a masterpiece.

The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared - Jonas Jonasson

Super cute! This book is fantastic summer reading, really fast not difficult at all. I loved the energy that Alan spreads around him. The main character is flawless. If anyone needs to cheer up just grab these 400 pages of positivity.

Closely watched trains - Bohumil Hrabal

...Miloši, I fell in love.... So childish so naive.... like a dream.  I love the perfect combination of humour and tragedy in this book.  It filled me with joy !!

Lolita - Vladimir Nabokov

Now, this is hard..... This book gave me goose bumps and also made me happy and worm. On one hand you have to disapprove the sick "realationship", but on the other....it is tale of  obsessive Love. Love so strong, that it made man go mad. YES it really is beautiful even though it shouldn´t. Congrats Mr. Nabokov!! You wrote such a wonderfully beautiful masterpiece that no one cares about the weird-little girl molesting part! PS: And of course, WHAT AN OPENING LINE/PARAGRAPH!!

IT - Alexa Chung

I don't know what to say. Well it's awesome to learn stuff about someone's life and stuff they adore. PLUS when this person is Alexa Chung it is supposed to be triple awesome BUT, I have to say, I expected more... much more. Sorry Alexa but, I could write book like this in a week..............ofcourse if I got chance to do so.

Bonjour Tristesse - Françoise Sagan

Many people think this is easy reading, that 17 years old girl can't write something proper. Well this book may seem a little dull but as soon as you start reading between the lines, you get invitation to teenaged-girls mind, who is scared of the same thing every other girl/boy is at that age. This was my first book from Francoise Sagan, and for sure not last. I have to say CONGRATULATIONS! Only French person could write book like this. I can't imagine someone from Italy writing this kind of plot, or from Denmark... Jesus. No one in this world is more jealous than a Frenchman/woman. And this book is build on jealousy. Young girl who can't let her "papa" love another woman. Especially woman who is, in Cecilia's opinion, so much better, beutiful, intelligent and so on so on. Throughout the time Cecile realises, that Anne reminds her of her duty to grow up. That is the her main problem, that she came to everyday contact whit someone who instantly reminds her of growing up of being mature, of her biggest fear. So she picks the most childish way (to remind herself that she doesn't need to grow up) to remove Anne from her and her father's life. Who also whit arrival of Anne started to act little more mature, which made Cecile think she lost her best friend.  PEOPLE STOP READING PERFUNCTORILY.

The Merde Factor - Stephen Clarke

This book well, is fifth story in raw mapping Paul West's life full of struggles in Paris. For person who read all five books, this one is just another story. As Clarkes huge fan I cant imagine not buying and reading this book, it would be like treason. Tho I have to admit that this book is not as perfect as the first one. It's easy reading full of funny moments, great stuff for the sunbathing, not a bestseller tho. My advice to you guys is: never read this book before you read the first one.... that will just turn you down ... 3.5 \ 5

Ask the Dust - John Fante

This is the most believable and honest story about life of a young intellectual I have ever read. J. Fante is describing his own life spent in LA as well as Jack Kerouac in his book, but Fante never made me doubt whether it is true what he wrote. This book doesn't act, Fante doesn't pretend to be crazy and wild in impossible ways.  Honesty, that is what this book feels like.

A Wild Sheep Chase - Haruki Murakami

If anybody asked me, what my favourite book is nowadays, I would totally and absolutely say a Wild sheep chase and believe me, I am never sure!   This book just totally blew my mind! I haven´t read anything this psycho-weird in ages...maybe actually I haven´t ever read anything this trippy in my whole life!  This whole book is a masterpiece. Murakami is master of dialogues, of making up the most crazy-weird-mind blowing stories ever made and setting them to the most perfect enviroment.  My favourite part was when the main character gets to that cottage in the hills. Maaan! The descriptions of the location and of his feelings are so perfect!!! You can feel the winter coming, you can hear the snow falling,  smell the fresh Hokaido air and you actually feel like the main character !  Loved the book !!  5/5 !!

On the Road - Jack Kerouac

„Nothing behind me, everything ahead of me, as is ever so on the road.” 

My feelings about this book are still a little fuzzy... I´m not sure if the book wasn’t a bit too long or if it , on the other hand, wasn´t  a bit too short... but who cares right ? Ok let’s say that length isn´t important. The important thing is writing !  The main character took me by hand and dragged me to EVERY corner of U.S.A.,  even if I wanted to rest a bit. My main problem with this book were  characters. Sometimes Sals or Deans actions made me nervous, not Kafka nervous but pretty nervous. I couldn´t stand  that permanent chaos.... they are irresponsible... they generally hurt people... blah blah Than you realize that you read about ww2 veterans, also about people who try to fight they irresponsibility and they actions but it’s too hard for them. They know what they do and they can´t stand it too. But nothing ever changes. This book is full of super cool stuff. It is door to underground society of those times. It shows you life of bohemians through microscope. Kerouac made great job. It opens your eyes really. Read between the lines I promise you won’t regret it!!!
