âlet me go. now.â you said sternly, struggling to rip your wrist free from his grip. his eyes trained onto yours searching, did you really feel that way? this wasnt how they told him it would go. his eyebrows creased in betrayal and anguish.
who wouldâve thought when your ex texted you claiming they were in danger they lied. typical. when you rushed to his house you were met with him kneeling and a bouquet of flowers in hand. on instinct of seeing that, your hand flew to his cheek and slapped him.
âwhat the hell, is wrong with you. i thought you were dead or something you sicko!â your breath hammered in your chest. you turned your back to him and trying to walk away but you felt him cling to your legs desperately. âif i didnât you wouldnt come.â
your fist clenched trying to restrain yourself, âim not supposed to come. were are over. done. there is nothing, not even a little love between us.â you feel lightheaded, what the hell is going on with him. he was never like this when you guys were dating.
while you were in your thoughts you didnât hear/feel him get up until a hand latched onto your wrist, you turn in a flash. âthere is. do not joke about that [name]. were meant for eachother, see?â he pulls his hand to show you your name etched onto his wrist.
âwhat..?â your jaw drops at the display. âno, no no no. i cannot deal with this right now. get help.â
âbut iâ,â he cleared his throat and immediately hardened his resolve. âno. you canât leave.â his gloomy eyes bore into yours, in a way a predator looks at their prey. âexcuse me?â you scoffed in disbelief, was this guy seriously that stuck in his own delusions? âyou will let me go and i will leave.â
â[name], usually, im a pretty patient person. but you are really really changing that.â the muscle in his jaw clenched, as he took a minute to ground himself. unexpectedly, he fell to his knees, looking up at you with those eyes you once loved. âplease, stay with me. we can talk about this and go back to how we used to.â
your gut told you you didnt really have a choice in this, swallowing your fear you accept. he gets up and breaks into a giddy smile. âi knew you still cared about us, my love.â he slightly releases his grip on your wrist, not as painful but not quite loose enough to break free.
âyouâre mine love, always and forever. but you know that, right? youâre just a little misguidedâŚbut i can fix that.â
