Max & Helen | May I love you?

It's quite like they are constantly asking each other: may I love you? Once, in one of my nasty tweet I said that after everything Helen did for Max (she found the cure, she left her boyfriend, she stayed at NA even if she could have gove everywhere after she was demoted, she gave up half her department), all Max did was kiss Alice. Yes, I was upset. BUT. It wasn't all false. She did a lot for him. "Everything I have done, I have done for you". Max also did some things for her, but he needs to do more. We know he is still griefing, but It won't last forever. That's why I'm happy about Cassian. Also, It's not okay to Helen to wait for him. I just tried to show how much they do for each other and what they mean for each other. Just follow the song.

Yh major sharpwin shipper here but they’re clearly not ready. Probably gonna take another season. Max is still determined to ignore his grief probably due to his guilt cause let’s face it he was a less than stellar husband and didn’t really get to make amends. He’s gotta a whole lot of stuff he needs to work through before sharpwin can be a thing cause it’ll be a giant mess otherwise. Plus new doc is cute and seeing max jealous might be fun. Also he better have cleaned that nasty ass carpet.

I agree it’ll be half-way through the season if not the total season. I don't think Max is ignoring his grief. It’s very real and very there, he’s just trying to work through it, I mean he’s stopped hallucinating Georgia. I liked that David Schulner said that Max wants to be better and he believed he was getting there but grief is a roller coaster. It hits you in waves and the near kiss with Helen confirmed that.

I like that they are respecting that cause he is NOT ready to be what Helen needs. Just like he wasn't what Georgia needed and waited too long to be it for her before it was too late.

That is going to be the thing that torments him next season as he watches Sharpshin making eyes and giggling cause...it's going to happen.

I'm excited to see what they do with this dynamic next season.

I remember they announced the cast and I just thought MARRIED and they delivered. This is so weird coming from me but you're right anon, season 2 best have them develop their "friendship" (I call bs) further or I'm gonna cry.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the best chemistry I've seen has been in dramas not tagged as romance because they try making it subtle but they're practically shooting hearts out their eyes
