A Rustic Front Entrance made from reclaimed oak beams with transom & sidelights. Also by Mabel Studios, the Garage Side Entry, which is a dutch door with reclaimed cast iron straps and a speakeasy. We're working closely with the talented Abby Hetherington Interiors from Bozeman, MT on this Appalachian Residence.

A brand new hand-built door made to look a 100 years old. The trick, you could say, to use antique hand-hewn materials and a lot of finesse. Our client didn’t want any of the new freshly sawn wood to show, but of course the door needs to work perfectly and have a weather-tight seal. With a lot of thought and time Paul has made it happen and still got to use some of the gnarliest boards from the stack. Now just waiting for the clear glass to arrive for the transom and sidelights.
Live Edge Walnut & Steel Bar // 90″ x 42″ x 20″
-The proportions for this piece were tricky to get right. Being so tall and narrow, Paul used steel brackets to break up the height and add some more sophistication to the rustic live edge slabs. Steel work done by Redtail Designs and interior design by DaVant Interiors
Live Edge Walnut Dining Table // 8′ x 40″ x 30″
-Inspired by the work of Martin Puryear we designed an asymmetrical steel frame and wrapped it in live edge pieces with brass hardware.
Pictured in it’s new home this is one of our favorite pieces to ever come out of Mabel Studios, a George Nakashima inspired spindle back bench.
I’m not a good enough photographer to capture the great room to this custom built home but trust me it is awe inspiring. // Sliding Reclaimed Barn Wood Door with Antique Scythe Handle
Reclaimed Oak Door with Hand Forged Hardware & Copper Accents &.....there’s another one just like it one story up
We’ve been working on custom pieces for this home for about three years but I think this table stands out the most in the house. Photos may not do it justice but the color and texture really shine in person. 14′ x 42″ x 30″
White Oak & Steel Desk
A moody wine room with some lovely textures. We built the arched top wine room door and the highly figured sugar maple wall mount table. This home is full of refined rustic design.
A modern rustic wine room door made from reclaimed chestnut. Our client paved the floor of his wine room with copper pennies. We wanted to show this off from the main room and hopefully get a lantern effect when the lights were on so we used insulated glass in 14 small windows. We hope to see this installed in the future.
White Oak Slab Table with Ebonized Oak Base 5′10″ x 30″ x 30″
Our client just remodeled their historic craftsman home and asked for an artistic banquette table, we went for drama and found a perfect piece of white oak. Paul employed a new technique too darken and highlight all the character and used a clear epoxy to make it a perfectly smooth table top.
As Guy Martin would say... MASSIVE! This 14′ x 48″ Oak and Steel Dining Table is awaiting delivery.
Finished and installed, 32″ x 8′0 Wine Room Door / Reclaimed Oak. Being an interior door we were able to leave the natural weathered wood without a finish so we could keep the beautiful matte texture.
