the "I believe in abortion only in extreme situations" people (especially women) truly baffle me because I genuinely consider "a human has another human growing inside of them and does not want to" to be a very extreme situation. to me that feels so deeply like an extreme emergency situation. I know this has been said before but it's incredible to me that this does not feel innately horrifying and "extreme" to everyone.

Always, always take the time to sit with and process your feelings. Often we live through events that are major for us and afterwards we just keep going - we do not stop to check our breathing, our heartbeat, our mental state. A lot of situations cause a lot of difficult emotions and while it is ok to let them exist for a while, it is not ok to bury them. Make room for your feelings and thoughts, my love. Honestly it boils down to reparenting yourself & rewiring your own neuronal pathways & telling yourself a firm “stop” when you notice your mind slipping down negative loopholes & being present in the moment & enjoying being mid task rather than waiting for it to end & not thinking of inertia as your baseline and natural way of living
