After the market we took the train out to Shigetsu for lunch, japanese zen cooking at Tenryuji in Arashiyama where autumn is in full colour. The bamboo path is just behind the temple and it is just such a peaceful place even with the crowds out sightseeing. Then we jumped back on a train to Fushimi Inari Shrine, arriving at a perfect time to catch the late afternoon light in this most amazing place.
