Chicago Drill is REAL Drill music if you’re going to be real about drilling. UK Drill is really more like shanking and knives since the gun laws and violence are so different overseas. Truly I’m not sure what’s worse…being stabbed to death or shot. I guess it would depend where you get hit. I’d rather take one to the dome and see the lord than get hit up 33 times with a box cutter.

True. Those UK murders are savage even tho they don’t really have the gang history of Chicago or LA or Miami for instance.

I would be all for Mac DeMarco making an album of songs just like this. If Mac were to make a hip hop or r&b album I would love for it to ride like these tracks. This was recorded at the Met Gala back in 2018 and contains “She’s My Sweet” as well as a second track “F*** The Toronto Raptors”. They have that distinct Mac vibe and quality while venturing into an experimental sort of hip hop autotune sound. It just sounds like Mac having fun and experimenting and it would be such a change from Here Come The Cowboy to go on to make an entire album like this. What is your favorite rare or lesser known Mac song?
