Map of The Daggerfall Covenant
The Daggerfall Covenant is by far the smallest of the three alliances, therefore, some creative liberties have been taken on my part, especially when it comes to the precise location of some places, as the game(s) have a tendency (especially in these regions) to truncate their maps somewhat.
Special credit to The UESP, ladynerevar, Okiir and Kuusinen for their design work and research from which I have taken inspiration.
Map of The Ebonheart Pact [The Elder Scrolls]
The Ebonheat pact, much like its people, is a surprisingly complicated affair. Some creative liberties have been taken on my part, especially when it comes to the precise location of some places, as the game(s) have a tendency to truncate their maps somewhat.

what fonts do you use for vintage-like maps (valgsland/agnolia/occidental cold war)? also how do u come up with colour schemes? jist vibes?
i love all your maps, especially the united republic one
Thanks! For fonts I use three main ones, Futura, Avenir, and Prestige Elite, plus any kind of monospace font for smaller text. For choosing the map's color palette, I usually settle on a set of five or so high contrasting colors and then tune their saturation down a ton until they more or less look cohesive. While I don’t always intend to make a “vintage” looking map, a lot of aspects of those maps (muted, almost pastel colors, yellow-beige parchment-esque borders, and so on) really appeals to me and sort of accidentally carries over into my other maps. I also use a lot of reference material when creating my maps, but in some cases they are directly inspired by real maps. In the case of the Occidental Cold War map, it is almost a 1:1 imitation of a map published by Fortune Magazine in the 40’s (Orthrographic World Island or something like that iirc).
