Meet Hematite squad.

Hematite squad answers directly to the Commander of fighting force of the Alliance of Humanity's Vestiges (AHV), causing them to be far less corrupt than other squads... for the most part (Smoke).

The Hunter Drone: A Drone model built to defend against Disassembly Drones.

Appearance: Hunter Drones average 6 feet tall. They share similarities to Worker Drones and Disassembly Drones. They can engage a chevron to be displayed on their visor similar to a Disassembler's X.

Description:

A Hunter Drone is created when a Worker Drone is upgraded. The procedure started with a 1 in 200 failure rate, perfections on the process and design changes bumped that down to a 1 in 500 failure rate.

HDs can be outfitted with a veriaty of integrated weapons from swords to guns. Firearms are fed through an integrated magazine in the HD's chest cavity, though they are usually built to use conventional magazines as a failsafe.

They can divert more power to their limbs to increase their strength. Normally, they're strength sits midway between a Disassembly Drone and a Worker Drone. When they divert power, they are slightly stronger than a Disassembly Drone. The downside to diverting power is that they get tired out fast and their other systems and moter functions can become weakened to the point they could be unable to support their own weight.

HD's can be equipped and trained to fly using a wing pack. A wing pack serves as both transportation and defence, able to block blows and gunfire with the tough metal plates.

To get an edge a over Disassembly Drones healing nanites, they have been built with redundant components and armour plating. Each HD is assigned a Technician they report to after each combat encounter for maintenance and repairs.

HDs started as elite fighters but have evolved into their own devision. They fight against what they know as 'Death Angels' to protect both Humans and Workers from their enemy's insatiable hunger for violence and food.
