GOD I wish the Addams family was real bc like if you just pop up at random and declare yourself part of the family they'll just shrug and say "sounds legit" before inviting you to the family reunion where they'll teach you to assemble a mini guillotine to execute the annoying bugs in your backyard and they won't even care if you're gay or whatever no that's just what makes you quirky and strange so they just go like "so what if you're gay? We've got a cousin with ungodly amounts of hair and an uncle who swallows swords, we don't really care go get yourself a partner dude just be back before dinner we're having a new recipe, it has vulture eggs" or some shit and if anyone questions your appearance or place in they family they just say something like "no that's Family whenever we ask them who they are they say they're family so clearly that's what they are. They have a name yes but we call them Family or just Relative no this isn't weird" imagine moving out and really needing a place to stay and you just move in with these guys with very little explanation and all the sudden you have an extended family and the only downside is that they're a little funky but so are you and honestly they won't really hurt you at all ever so yeah
