“ Oh, come on, don't be that way, ” They grouse, though paying enough mind to take heed of her request, promptly stomping off as much melting snow as they can possibly dislodge from their worn boots onto the ruddy matt separating the rest of the floor of her suite from the threshold of the balcony. Elphaba's hands raise as if to say, 'look, see?' before fully stepping into the room, mindful of the antique flooring.
“ I'm your eldest sibling, not a role model. The two aren't mutually-exclusive, particularly in my case, ” Elphaba replies, somewhat flatly, though a toothy grin is flashed in her direction as recompense. “ Besides, I made it back here in one piece, didn't I? I'd say my foolishness is made up for in ingenuity. ”
They sway slightly on their feet, a hiccup given before they outright laugh at her suggestion.
“ Aha! Destroying the evidence! Very strategic of you. I knew I came to the right place. ” Another smile, looser, and they offer her the bottle to take while sauntering off across her room to fumble with gathering those cups. There's a soft clink or two inside the drawer, but Elphaba manages well enough, even in their less-than sober state. They turn with a flourish, holding up a matching set of glasses, miming a one-person toast.
“ It's not the best, but it's definitely strong, I'll give him that much, ” Elphaba shrugs, walking back towards Nessa with her cup presented in their outstretched hand.
“ Pour less for me than for yourself, please. ” A hand suddenly flies up, held to their chest in mock horror. They put on a false, posh air. “ Miss Galinda will most certainly have a fit if I'm unable to even walk back to our suite later, I just know it. ”
