hi hi - if you're in the homestuck discord or have any contact w/ any of the people in charge of Homestuck As A Brand i highly encourage you to voice and make your displeasure with the fact that they're selling Team Special Olympics merch known.

it is beyond unacceptable that they are not only selling merch of it but that they are selling and profiting off of hussie's two decade old incredibly racist and ablest comics without any acknowledgement as such - in fact they *KNOW* that CALLING it by it's name, Team Special Olympics, is probably bad optics, because they referred to it as 'TSO' on the merch website before changing it to 'MISC' after backlash. the only people who are going to be buying these shirts are chuds using it as a dogwhistle. look me in the eyes and tell me that there are genuine, earnest Team Special Olympics fans kicking around right now. i am genuinely baffled as to the decision making here and i am genuinely baffled that this got through every single step of their chain of command without any recourse, not a single person going 'hey, maybe we shouldn't be selling merchandise of this'. are you out of your goddamn mind
