every time I've had to mix a custom paint for a doll's skin tone I've given it a name that sounds like it would be from a fucked up makeup line. Pale Elf for Astarion, Iron Strider for my tiefling ranger tav, Ugly-Ass Psycho Doll for the Angie that goes with my Donna cosplay, and Butcher's Flesh for the convict. if I ever started my own makeup brand I would 100% keep these names (maybe shorten angie's to psycho doll) and add more in a similar vein for the full range

Box mockup for my Ryland Grace doll, thoughts?

It’s just gonna be an overlay on the og box, I’ve used my shitty photoshop skills to the best of my ability. More accessories will be added, also his glasses are in the bottom of the box somewhere they just fell off

I asked my roommate to put Bdubs in the passenger seat thinking she would just have him loose on the seat or maybe on the floor or something but she actually buckled him in

Past me didn't give that necklace of bones a dark wash but present me did. Granted my rough sculpting is still an issue, but the point is it can be good to go back and touch up an old project. I also replaced the thread with a wire for added structure.

so for some reason there's a daiso (japanese version of a dollar store) in the middle of oregon and today i got to go to it and they had blank doll heads and doll bodies so obviously

no ideas for this little fella yet but look at the articulation!

All the photos from my photography final! Lots of fictional characters, some genderbends, and a tiefling tav! The earliest dolls here are from 2023 but I've been customizing since 2022.

i love the shade of blue i mixed up for this doll. still needs her feet done but for now I'll let this third coat of paint dry. those pink shoes will get a blue paint job too.

Did my photography final on my custom dolls and had a fun time shooting Simon in industrial settings. Only the final image made it into the completed photo series but i think having him hug his harness like he does in the movie was the right call.

Finally done with the convict! This movie has been my muse for weeks now and I'm so happy I took on the challenge of making a doll of this character. His accessories alone took 19 hours of sewing, both by hand and by machine.

I could easily call this doll done if I wasn't making all his little accessories. I haven't done a sad doll face since Ashley and that one turned out really rough and I'm glad I did one again. But he has his cozy sweater now!!!
