- Creek is the town's tailor. Tamamo helps out sometimes with basic stuff like hemming or fixing tears (used to repair her and her little siblings' clothes when she was younger) and Oguri helps out sometimes by standing over Creek's shoulder looking vaguely confused

- Rob Roy owns a little bookstore in town. Her collection is huge and extensive and people are free to borrow books if they want as long as they're returned in good condition. Rice is her most frequent customer and Hayahide starts working at the bookstore once she moves into town

- Opera O is a musician/monster hunter/knight/adventurer (allegedly). She tells incredible stories that tell of her greatness and feats. Some people believe she's just a traveling bard making shit up, but she's actually a real adventurer who really did do all that shit who has a flair for the dramatic. She gets on Ayabe's nerves so fucking much and she genuinely was considering killing her when they first met but now they're chill

- Hishiama is the first human Brian actually trusts since she was a teen, but Maya was the beginning of Brian getting over her (strong) dislike of humans

- Expanding on the above point, Brian and Hishiama had a long "I can fix her"("I can help her calm her rage") "I can make her worse"("I can turn her into a vampire") thing going on. Hishiama ended up winning out since Brian didn't want to turn her without permission and Hishiama didn't want to give up her humanity

- On the other side, Maya and Brian had a weird "I can make her crash out" ("I like bothering hanging out with Brian") "I have to be better" ("I can't just kill the kid even if she pisses me off") thing going on where Maya inadvertently taught Brian how to experience negative emotions normally without hurting anyone again

- Taiki is a cowboy vampire. She is exactly the same as before she was turned. Nothing has changed. It drives Air Groove insane because her stupid country friend keeps going out in broad sunlight and coming back sunburnt as shit. Taiki heals overnight and is fine by the time the sun comes up again, so she just keeps doing it

- Taiki, Suzuka, and Air Groove were all friends before any of them were turned

so what if lady d kept a maiden around longer than usual 👉 👈 because what if the maiden was nice to her daughters on a matter of politeness and then accidentally endeared herself to alcina and she ends up keeping her around for company and the maiden certainly isnt against being kept as a hot water bottle and occasional snack by a giant vampire milf. i also love the idea of alcina's daughters gossiping about how long she's kept this one around now, they're normally gone in a matter of days or weeks, she doesn't play with her food for this long.....
