Madderz Gaming and the Future of Gears of War
We’re glad to have some strong feedback from sources about our Buy In events, that are held online and truly appreciate your help with the feedback. In light of this, we have made some changes to our upcoming events. Challonge.com/LoveofGears, Challonge.com/RoadtoRedemptionv3 and Challonge.com/HypeRedemptionv3 are free events to earn small monetary and Seeding Points. We want show, not only you the players, but the entire community what we’ve been on the scene, testing out neutrality for some time now. We were going to host a single elimination, 32 capped event. Which only the top 16 teams would advance for the reminder of the event and our following event the following weekend, Challonge.com/LoveofGears. However with other events taken place we will allow for this event 16 legitimate teams, that are serious about trying out a new form of tournaments. We would ask those going to Winter Brawl 9 or that participate in #GoW3Scrim, to sign up as well. Since we’re going to ask for some of your feedback from this. Also since it will be neutral hosted, this will also help with running smooth & more efficient events then we at Madderz Gaming ever had.
We will also host another event in the same sequence. Following Winter Brawl, Challonge.com/RoadtoRedemptionv3 we will start sort of a GOW eSports Seeding Point system for the Gears of War Online Realm. For this event, we capped it at thirty-two (32). The top sixteen (16) players will advance for the reminder of the event and also will advance through, gaining Seeding Points that are earned in this March event to compete in Challonge.com/HypeRedemptionv3 that will also be free and will have a monetary for only 1st Place.
These events, along with many others will be always neutral hosted and Seeding Points earned for each event. In light of this fact, if these events is something you come to enjoy and we run sufficiently, we will go a little bit further, as we will start doing small Buy In events Online. We start with $5 and gradually work are way towards bigger buy in events.
We’ve asked a lot of folks of winner takes all for $5 - $15 dollar Buy In Events Online would be a good way to push teams to become better and stay together. The responses we receive was all Yes. More or less when it came down to $15. So if we do a $5 or $10 event, winner will take all. Anything higher than $10, will result in 2nd and 3rd place prizes.
We at Madderz Gaming want to insure that when you the players/participants participate in our events and our viewers who actually enjoy watch our events, a chance to see how we are trying to improve faster more efficient events, that do not take all day. Also we know that you guys have lives outside of this game. With that being said, you may want to enjoy time doing what is you do on a weekend. Rather than take time watching a 8 - 12 hour, two day event. So in light of this. We need you, the community, to come and spend just a little of your time, showing your support.
We all love Gears of War. We all truly want to see this game become more then a dead game. eSports is where it’s at. However event organizations like ours need you to connect with us, so we may accomplish something that we’ve dedicated ourselves to.
