Anyone else change their appearance to look more like their para?

Lately I’ve started taking steps to look more like my para, a lot of them not even consciously. Idk about anyone else but normal paras feel like I’m on the outside looking in or watching a movie and I have no desire to actually be them. Parames on the other hand feel akin to playing a video game from a first person pov. I often want to change the way I look or sound to feel like them. The only thing is I have several parames and I’ve only been aiming to look like one in particular. I’ve gotten a few new piercings, started stretching my ears, dyed my hair, etc. in order to look and feel more like my parame Giuseppe and it makes me feel great when I’m daydreaming as Giuseppe (which is almost all the time). But then when I’m daydreaming as another parame, I feel really weird and self-conscious about the way I look. For example, another parame I daydream as often in called Michael, but he’s a teacher and doesn’t look anything like Giuseppe so it’s weird. Idk, anyone else have similar experiences?

it is very difficult to deal with the fact that your real life will never come close to the things you have created in your head, your imagination. Things that you know will never happen to you; It makes everything even sadder and depressing.

it’s so friggen weird how there is just SO much happening inside my head, like, entire universes with people and stories and all of these different lives and emotions and wow!! it’s just…so much!! and then you look at my real life and there’s…nothing. it’s nothing. nothing’s happening, there’s nothing in it. it’s…such a weird contrast, such a weird concept to comprehend.
