“Yeah well about 17 years of being friends with Caden will do that to you,” she laughed, “That and becoming a mentor and now an alpha. I kinda wish I could get back to the act first ask questions now later attitude more. Less gets done if I spend time worrying.” She laughed at his joke and nodded, “Alright, you got a certain place you wanna go or does just any old bar work?” She shrugged, “I don’t know, you got anything fun planned with your friends? You thinking about keeping work to the pack or taking on a civilian job too?”
“Hey, worrying is my job,” he teased with a smile. “But thinking things through is all of our jobs, even if it’s not fun, and makes us concerned.” Maddoc shrugged, “anyplace works. I’m not picky with drinks.” Truth was Maddoc wasn’t a big drinker. He liked having a beer once and a while but he’d never particularly liked the taste. The only times he got drunk was when he didn’t know about the alcohol, usually hidden by the sweet taste of soda or juice. “There’ll be the usual parties, not to mention the fun of moving everything out of the dorms. Maybe...” he admitted. “I’d probably just get a job in a shop, nothing that takes up too much time since the pack is the main priority.”
