name comes from the knife they use in the dune books- its also a reference to real-world company "anduril" (pawmurr luckey is its real ceo) which got its name from a sword in the lord of the ring series.
i thought it was prescient considering techbros are obsessed with lord of the rings-a simple good vs. evil novel. (technology being the ultimate utilitarian "good") to compare it to a book that better reflects our political-socioeconomic realities.
