"Alright," Jon nodded, taking off his glasses and closing his eyes, cuddling into her with a smile, "Letās sleep now, love." He murmured, kissing her soft and quick.
Madison nuzzled against Jon. She didn't even hear what he said, she only heard his voice. She was soon deep asleep, and she saw a light in the darkness, and she realized it was a wand emitting a light in her dream. She was whimpering a bit.
Jon smiled and wrapped his arms around her, listening to the tune she was humming. He smiled as he watched her, murmuring, "You can sleep, Dove. I've got you. I'll keep you safe." He kissed her head.
Sleep was beckoning her like a siren. She gripped Jonathan lightly and nodded her head. She yawned and said, "But you have to sleep too, okay?" She looked up at Jonathan then closed her eyes slowly. Maybe the nightmares wouldn't be so scary anymore if Jon was there.
Whiskey Run || Caden and Madison
Caden nodded once again and started walking in the direction of his familyās garage. āHopefully one of the smaller cars is around because I donāt really feel like taking my baby out for a drink run.ā He shrugged. āThen again, what do you think? Would you prefer to ride in a fast car or a safe car?ā They reached the garage after a few minutes and he clicked on the lights, showing off a few cars that the family had.
Madison listened to him then answered. "Safe. Definitely safe." She nodded her head at him. Madison hoped he wasn't one of those spoiled brats, he was nice so far, but the night was still young, and their adventure just started. She leaned on a wall, waiting for Caden to chooses a car.
Jon smiled into the kiss, eventually parting his lips as more of a question than an invitation. He just wanted her comfortable as he squeezed her hands and his eyelids became lighter when closed, glasses awkwardly bumping Madison in the forehead, about to pull away to apologize.
Madison giggled as they kissed. She moved away from him a bit then wrapped her blanket around them. She started humming a lullaby her mother used to sing to her. Her head was on Jonathan's chest, her eyes were slowly closing and she tried her best to keep them open.
Whiskey Run || Caden and Madison
"At the risk of invoking Murphyās Law, what could possibly go wrong?" Caden held on to Madisonās hand then, with a somewhat loud crack - almost like popcorn in a microwave - their bodies moved through subspace and away from Hogwarts grounds. About twenty seconds later, they reformed at the front gate of his familyās manor and he nodded to himself before releasing Madisonās hand and brushing imaginary dirt off of his jacket. "Are we all here? No missing limbs or fingers? Both eyebrows present?"
Madison felt that somewhat familiar sensation of apparating again. She felt the immense discomfort, but it was quick and she was thankful. She checked her body, touching every limb and her face. "All here," Madison said under her breath. Madi saw him brush some dirt off his jacket, but there was none. She looked around and it was quite the fancy place, and she remembered her neighborhood. The sky was dark, and Madison was right in wearing a sweater.
Jon huffed but smiled at the nickname, āOh, alright.ā He grinned and kissed her again, more passionate than the last, but still as chaste. He smiled at their hands, allowing her to play with them as much as she wanted.
She stuck out her tongue at him then laughed a little at him. Madison kissed him back fervently. She intertwined their hands and moved closer to him. She smiled as she still kissed him.Ā
Jon groaned and hid his face in the pillows, āMadi, stop,ā he laughed softly. Upon hearing her question, he nodded, āActually, yeah, you could say that.ā He smiled and kissed the corner of her mouth.
"I'm just teasing, Scar," she said, putting her head next to his. Madi smiled as she was kissed by him. "Kiss me again," she said softly, not wanting to sound demanding. She took his hands and then played with them.
Jon hid his cheeks, red and flaming, from her. He shook his head, āDonāt sleep much these days to be honest.ā He pulled her even closer, āBesides, if youāre up, Iāll stay up.ā
Madison raised an eyebrow and had a cheeky smile on her face. "Is the great Jonathan Anderson blushing?! Could this be? But how?!" She announced the empty room with only the two of them in it with a laugh. She sighed then grinned at him. "Making up for lost time, Anderson?"
Jom blushed, "I was actually trying to be romantic..." He chuckled softly. He sighed, "Then we'll stay up. But I promise, you're okay." He reassured her, kissing her forehead softly and smiling a bit, "Want to watch a movie in the mean time?"
"I know, I know, my love," she said, giving him a kiss on the cheek. Madi tilted her head and asked, "Are you sleepy, Jon?" She scratched her side then added, "You can always go to sleep if you want."
Whiskey Run || Caden and Madison
Caden nodded then held out his hand to Madison while he stepped away from the gates. āThen hang on a moā. Youāve Apparated before, right? Iāve heard it feels different when being Side-Alonged than when you do it yourself.ā He was glad that he had learned to Apparate as early as he did so he had long gotten used to the feeling. āItās a short jump to London, really, so it shouldnāt take too long to get there.ā
"I've done it a couple of times with a brother of mine," she said with a smile. "But it's been some time since I've apparated so I hope it all goes well," Madison admitted with a shrug. She smiled at him then put her hand on top of his and closed her eyes, muttering a prayer to some god.Ā

Sshh, you are not going to do anything you don't want to, okay?
Whiskey Run || Caden and Madison
As Madison approached him, he waved to her, noting that she dressed warmly, which made sense seeing as Septembers in Scotland were as unforgiving as the rest of the autumn season. āReady to go? We just have to pop over to my place briefly so we can pick up my car and then we can go on our run. Up for a cross-country Apparation?ā He had only ever done this with two other people so he didnāt know how comfortable the girl would be with being Side-Along Apparated.
Madison smiled at him warmly then said, "I'm up for anything." She remembered all the stories her father told her about apparating, she did listen to them but at some point, Madison started to question everything her father told her. He would always say it was dangerous and very uncomfortable, but her father never knew that Madison and her brother, Jack, would apparate to places they felt like going to, but it's been months since they saw each other so Madi hoped she would be okay.
Jon used his thumbs to wipe at her tears, "Nothinh of I said is a joke." He wrapped his arms around her tightly and laid down, pulling her to his chest, "Try and get some actual rest, Seek. You need it." He kissed her head.
"I meant that falling apart and putting back together thing... I thought you were being punny," Madison said awkwardly. She let herself be pulled down and listened to his heart beating. She nodded then replied, "But I'm scared I might have a nightmare again."
"Iāll try my best to put you back together," Jon promised, kissing her temple. He sighed, smoothing her hair. "To be honest, I donāt think I was living without you."
Madison looked at him and then hugged him some more. She glanced at the boy and said, "Was that a joke?" She cried a little with some laughter that died out quick. "If so, it's a horrible joke," she said, her tears falling down a bit more. "It's going to be you and me, Jon."
Jon sighed, "Or yourself," He finished her sentence with his own thoughts and pulled back. "And I'll never hurt you again." He looked her straight in the eyes, "There'll be no more of that, okay? No one needs to get hurt anymore, Seek." He kissed her, "Not again."
Madison avoided his gaze as tears started forming. She wiped them then looked at him, she sniffled a little then said, "Good because I don't think I could handle any more heartache in my life, I just can't. I think I'm falling apart," she said, holding on to his shirt and letting her head rest on his chest, just so she could hear his heart beat. "I love you, Jonathan; I don't think I can live a life without you."
Whiskey Run || Caden and Madison
Madison was one individual he couldnāt get a handle on. While there were many people Caden didnāt understand, generally he could get a handle on the person they were. Not Madison Reyes, though. Once he thought he had her all figured out, she surprised him with some new aspect of herself. While he wasnāt sure completely if they were friends, he was sure enough that they were at the very least close acquaintances. You donāt just ask random people to go on a drinking run with you after all. He made sure to dress warmly since even Scottish nights in September were quite chilly and waited at the castle gates for his partner in semi-crime.
Madison was afraid of sleep lately for sleep brought about nightmares, and in those nightmares held the truth about the past, but she found that in getting drunk and passing out, she often did not dream. Thus, this was the only way to sleep. She put on a navy blue dress and got her sweater. She grabbed her wand, just in case anything would happen, and rushed up to the gates. She saw Caden waiting. Madison always thought of him as nice, then again, she always thought everyone was nice. Madison always tried to look for the good in everyone, and with a bottle in hand is the best way to do it.
Jon actually glared, "Don't you dare ever say anything like that again. You can never die. You don't die. Because if you died, I'd fall apart. I'd go crazy." Yeah, he was overreacting a bit, but he couldn't stop. "I freak out if you even look hurt. Can you imagine what would happen? Because death, it doesn't happen to you, it happens to me, to your friends, to everyone at this school and at your home, and to your brothers, because you are loved, Madison. Understand?" He held her tight, kissing her hair, "It better be. I love you. I love you so much."
Madison opened her mouth to say something, but what Jonathan said made her feel so happy and sad at the same time. She wanted to yell at him, but those three words kept her quiet. She tightened their hug and said, "I understand, Jon. I'm sorry. I don't ever want to hurt you..."Ā
