“Hey Doc!” the door swung open abruptly, the pleased Soldier lorded in the doorway.

“Yes?” the Medic replied, pushing the glasses back up on his nose. Admittedly, the unprofessional look of the Medic lounging in his chair, head resting upon fists. The door was the trigger to wake him, his startled flail knocking the thin wire frames from his face.

“Look I did good!” the man triumphantly announced, his hand under the helmet

“You did good what?” the man asked groggily, standing and walking towards the man

“I took down that ruski - he told me you weren’t American,”

“Okay?”

“But I might have taken a hit doc?”

“Only the foolish fight the Heavy, but I am pleased, I think,”

“But I might have taken a hit,” the Soldier, more unsure, removing his omnipresent helmet to show the bleeding to his cheekbone.

“Soldier…” cuckolded the Medic, inspecting the wound, “he has broken the cheekbone and I think you might have a concussion. Maybe. I can never tell.”
