We’re finally back! Chapter 1 of Part Three - Sahuldeem of the Sahuldeem series is up!

(aka “let’s make Bentilais actually look Kaleesh” and also “let’s preserve the PURPLE”)

I never really got into comics (despite being a huge nerd) however my local library had quite a collection of the original Clone Wars-era comic books and… gol dang some of those were good.

I’ve talked about how much I love the Kit Fisto/Aayla Secura ship, but my heavens you guys. The artists of this era had absolutely zero chill when it came to those two. Zero. Chill.

I mean look at this.

Then (I know I’ve already talked about this one, but still) there’s Shaak Ti being absolutely unnecessarily touchy around Alpha-17, which led to yet another rarepair wracking my brain.

Then there’s Mak Lotor and Kass Tod, two padawans whose masters died early in the war.

(They’re form the Jabiim arc, so… I’ll just leave that there. But they’re adorable.)

Anyway. I’m not a big comics guy but boy howdy did some of these comics go hard.

This is Zule Xiss from the Republic comics. She fought in the Battle of Jabiim as a part of a group of padawans who had all lost their masters. I think her character really showed how devastating the war was for the jedi.
