The Ottawa Centaurs are trying so hard to be inclusive: so they start to using Captain Haddock-approved curses (some vetoed by Harris) while chirping or communicating in general. And they show even more that they're the dorkiest team ever.
But it works!
Calling someone an "aadvark" is a powermove.

Shane Hollander's pregame ritual:
3 mile run.
Smoothie.
Yoga and meditation.
Reviewing opposing team's games.
Being quiet until reaching arena.
Left skate before right.
Three laps during warm-ups.
At least 2 goals scored during warm-ups.
Several different stretches on ice. All reasonable.
Awkward pre-game speech.
Deep breathing.
Ilya's pre-game rituals:
Have a shit.
2 cigarettes.
3 cups of coffee.
Another shit.
Greasy breakfast and a caramel latte with an extra shot.
Sensual stretches on ice.
Pre-game speech.
Avoid murder (affectionately).
Ilya Rozanov not being in the NHL Playoffs + attending The Eurovision Song Contest Finals = My new headcannon.
I need that man dancing to Europapa.
And Verka Serduchka. And Tommy Cash. And everything else.
Shane is having some kind of crisis watching his husband dancing along to KAJ's Bara Bada Bastu.
My latest daydream is Ilya secretly loving Eurovision.
And then, when out as the bi king of NHL, he's invited to every Eurovision party at the host city. And bringing Shane, partying all night and day during Eurovision Week.
Verka Serduchka is most certainly doing a amazing guest performance. And Ilya loves it.
All of this while Ruslana, KAJ, Conchita Wurst, Nemo, Käärijä and more ledgens rules the stage.
And Ilya makes Shane dance with him the whole night through.
Because of reasons. And Eurovision.
Ilya Rozanov has the most dad-sneeziest dad-sneeze ever and you can't convince me otherwise.
I need someone to do a fanfic about the legendary butt-check Slovakia's goalie made during the Sochi Olympics and Ilya being the Russian player eating shit. Because that is fucking amazing.
The goalie got a 2 min penalty, BTW
is this what the kids are listening to these days?
Took me a while to identify what in the world the other brass was till I realized it wasn’t.
Someone even transcribed it!

Reblog if you are ASEXUAL, SUPPORT ASEXUALS, or really really want to WEAR A REALLY FANCY BLACK CAPE
how come no one talks about those days where your mental health just crashes down randomly and you start feeling ashamed of yourself because you were doing so good and now you feel like a complete failure because you can’t figure out where you went wrong.
This is me. As of right now. And for the last 3 weeks.
Personal stuff...

I've read and re-read your DarkHawk fics so many times. I sometimes just look up a specific chapter because it makes me happy! I'm bad at commenting, because I'm kinda uncertain when it comes to spelling (English isn't my first language), but just know that I throughly enjoy EVERYTHING you write!
Just got this baby in the mail! Considering how shitty this week has been, my life just got a bit better!
Bad pun #1
Why does Thorin Oakenshield have grey hairs? - He had a bad heir day.
Another edit for @madmessy. The bus in the top middle picture is one used to transport patients to the landing strip. The bottom right hand corner shows a medevac crew with their bird. The bottom left hand corner shows triage surgeons at work in the R & E. The middle shot is of the revetment where the medevac crews stay and work and the one underneath shows the road to the 91st that Jim would take to visit Ross.
You are amazing!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!
(Honestly, I can't find the words to describe how awesome this is!)
For Madmessy who requested some visuals for Chu Lai Beach :)
The building in the top right corner is the 91st R & E building. The row of hooches in the bottom left hand corner are what Jim’s accommodations would have looked like. The ward is the actual 91st OR ward where Jim and LJ are in Chapter 19 and the room between the Hueys is Ross’ triage area. The Chu Lai sign is what Ross would have seen when he arrived and is on the landing strip building. The Huey at the top shows the medic and crew chief (i.e. Benny and Flint) sitting in the back and the aerial shot in the middle is the view of the 91st that Jim would see every time he brings Susie in over the bluff.
OMFG! I love you so much right now! Thank you!
When fashion isn't your thing...
Husband: You're always wearing jeans and a black shirt. Always! No matter the temperature! Me: Hey! This shirt is orange! Husband: It's a Batman shirt! It doesn't count!
Eurovision 2017
Every other song my husband and I go: More wine! This sums it all up quite nicely, I'd say
