*Smol soft marshmallow gives smooches to big tough GF* uvu
Ashe took pride in looking fairly tough. She’s been told she was intimidating and she likes it that way!
So why did she melt so easily like this??
“Thanks, babe~”

His footsteps following her down the hall were music to her ears ~ of course, she still had it.
“As long as it’s you, I don’t ever mind gettin help with me clothes,” she answered, rolling her eyes at the detached arm waving at her. She always felt weightless when he held her. He made it look easy.
Showers were few and far between in Junkertown. Baths were a little more common, but the water wasn’t clean, so it was a hit and miss situation. She enjoyed them when she could get them, though. Warm water was fantastic.
“Now, show me what I’ve been missin~”
𝕊he may have won that one, but now the ball was in his court again. Without a word, he turned her around, facing away from him. Fingertips gave feather-light touches to her sides as he leaned down to undo her bra with his teeth. With the clasps undone, lips traveled up her spine, leaving a trail of kisses along the way until he reached the nape of her neck where he paused to play-bite a moment as he threw her bra aside onto the floor.

maelstrom-monarch:
Well.
Didn’t he look nice.
She wasn’t shy about the clear up and down she gave him. Lots to take in, wasn’t there?
“There, now ya look like yerself,” she teased. She was sure there’d be plenty of time to explore and find all the new things since they’d last been together.
“I dunno,” she continued walking down the hall she assumed the bathroom would be connected to, “ya seemed pretty determined ta distract me from bein picked up. Maybe ya just can’t do it anymore.”
Disappearing down the hallway, she waited a few moments, for dramatic effect, before pulling off her own top and throwing it back into the room and at him
𝔸s she made her way down the hallway, his grin widened as he was waiting for her to accidentally walk right into a closet or something as she talked the big talk. Sadly she didn’t, but what she did do caused his brows to raise. He caught her shirt in his hands as it hit his chest. “Not only can I pick ya’ up, but I could also juggle ya’ if I wanted to, luv.” A sigh left him as he glanced from her shirt to the hallway. What was his next move? Did he even have a next move or was this checkmate? He supposed he could throw his shorts at her… Was he wearing underwear today though?
𝕋hen an idea hit him and he followed her to the bathroom. But before entering, he said, “Ya’ need a hand with the rest of ya’ clothes?” while waving his detached mechanical arm with his normal hand from around the corner before peeking in with a smirk. “Okay, you win. Ya’ tempted me in here.” Arm was popped back on and he easily lifted her up into her arms just to show her before setting her in the shower. “See? Light as a feather.”

This was...huh.
Not exactly what she’d imagined.
Jamie had come to this place?
The Overwatch base she’d arrived at was a lot cleaner than any place she’d seen, that was for damn sure. She stuck out like a sore thumb, and the stares she was getting only confirmed that. A few ‘wot’re you lookin at?’s seemed to keep them moving along their way. It was only once they were gone that she realized they probably could have told her where to find Junkrat. She’d be fine to find him on her own, right? She had permission to be here, they couldn’t get her in trouble.
Poking her head into a few rooms, Ashe was fairly surprised to find most of them empty.
“What’s tha point’ve havin so many rooms if ya ain’t gonna use em?” she muttered to herself, continuing her search.
Each room she looked in was the same. No Rat, no anyone, no-
Her eyes widened, taking in the most exciting room shed found so far.
The kitchen.
Empty, unguarded, and with food just...left out in the open? Was it a trap of some kind? Looking around, it certainly seemed empty. If no one was here, surely they wouldn’t miss if she took a couple things, right? After all, she was a guest here! It would only be polite to offer her something to eat, and since no one was here to do it, she might as well help them out and just take care of it herself!
In no time at all, the bag slung over her shoulder bulged pleasantly with fruit and drinks and a few whole loaves of bread. Nicely packed away, she prepared to continue the search for her friend when a pair of angry looking...whoever they were, blocked her exit. Arms folded, they were clearly taller than her...and there were two of them...and they had guns.
“Who are you and why are you stealing from Overwatch?” one of them demanded.
“I ain’t stealin from no one,” she insisted, “Just having a little snack is all, no harm in that, is there?”
They seemed to think it was pretty harmful.

“Oh, is that so?~” she laughed, placing hand on her hip. “Not excited enough for you, Jamie?”
She had missed him a lot, enough to be plenty excited to jump back into the swing of things.
But she couldn’t make it that easy for him.
“I don’t know, you’ve been gone for awhile, a nice new cozy little life here. How do I know you haven’t lost your touch?” she teased, “What if you just don’t have it in ya anymore?”

maelstrom-monarch:
Did she feel mad at him? She missed him everyday. It was certainly a lot quieter.
But she didn’t feel mad. Tanya knew he was out doing something he loved, in a place much better than the outback. She was happy for him! Just missed him.
He took her face gently in his hands and she smiled.
“I ain’t mad at ya,” she explained, “‘m glad you’re here doin all this fun stuff! Ya look really good, and I’m happy for ya. Missed you a lot, though.”
Her eyes fell, hands resting on his.
“Just kinda figured you’d move here and forget about me, I guess? Things here seem so important, like the whole world depends on it! Whole world doesn’t depend on who wins the next mech fight.”
It had been a sad feeling to get used to, but there wasn’t time to dwell on the past back home. Things were always moving forward, sometimes faster than you could handle.
“𝕄issed you as well, of course,” he said in a quiet voice, glad that she not only wasn’t angry with him, but glad to see him doing well. Jamison took her hands into his and kissed the tops of them playfully.
“𝔻o ya’ really think I could forget ya’? I don’t think I could even if I tried. But yeah, there’s important work here ta’ be done.” Perhaps he could eventually convince her to join as well? Time would tell.
𝔹ut also, there was work to be done right there in his apartment. “So ah take it ya’ want to continue from where we left off, roight?” Hands went to her shoulders to slide along to her neck as he leaned in with a Cheshire grin. “Because if so, I’m gonna’ pick ya’ up and take ya’ into the shower and we’re not leaving that room until we’re both squeaky clean. How does that sound, luv?” The question was accented with a wiggle of eyebrows.
“Sweet talker,” she said softly, standing on her tip toes to kiss him on the cheek. Interesting. She was so used to his face having a healthy layer of dust and dirt on it.
If he was happy to go back to how things had been before, she had no problem with it. As long as she wasn’t something that would pull him away from work.
“Aolright well you better get to liftin, ‘m not gonna get clean just standing here,” she said dramatically, holding her arms up.
Yo give this a like and I’ll toss Tanya into your asks!
maelstrom-monarch:
She’d never thought about it like that. Without the radiation to mess with them, stuff could start to heal and grow back.
“Don’t think any amount of non radiation could ever grow everything back,” she snickered, clacking her prosthetic arm against his.
“Cleaned up?”
She hadn’t really brought anything with which to get ‘cleaned up’ in. Just her normal clothes. They didn’t look especially clean to her. Jamie was wearing a shirt and everything! She’d have to figure something out later.
“All I had to bring was my normal stuff,” she explained, “Don’t know how cleaned up I could get!”
She’d missed him. The way he talked and the way he picked her up when he hugged her and the way his hands felt holding hers and-
“Your room is clean? You’re messin with me. There’s no way your room is clean!” she laughed.
People always recommended you found a job that paid you for doing what you loved. Not everyone gt that chance, but Jamie was lucky.
“Eh, same thing mostly. Buildin stuff, breakin stuff apart. Looking through junkyards. Watching mech fights. It’s fine, ya know? I can take care of meself.”
The difference was, she was doing it on her own now.
“What about here? How many things do ya get ta blow up a day, if ya had ta guess? They give ya a nice workshop and what not?”
𝕁amison had a feeling she might say that, so he had prepared in advance. “No worries. I got ya’ some presents that should help with getting cleaned up.” And they were waiting in his living room for her to open. His very clean living room. At her laugh, he glanced down at her with a smirk. “You just wait and see. We’re almost there.”
𝔸 subtle feeling of guilt washed over him as she told of what she had been doing since he’d been gone. There he was having the time of his life while she was stuck in a neverending cycle of the same old thing day after day. She said it was fine, but she didn’t know anything other than a life filled with radiation. She didn’t know how great it was outside of Australia. He’d have to show her, he supposed. “I see. I know, you’re tough.”
𝔸s they turned the corner he pulled his keycard from his pocket, ready to open his apartment. “Oh, it’s not an everyday thing. But yeah, got me an awesome workshop of my own, which I’ll gladly share with ya’.” With that, they’d finally arrived where he opened the door for her.
𝕆nce inside, he stepped closer. “So um, I’m curious so I’m just gonna’ come out and say it – are you mad at me for leaving? You can punch me if it makes ya’ feel better… Or do you want to continue where we left off?” Taking her chin in his hand, eyes locked to hers. “It’s totally up ta’ you, luv.” Her reaction would dictate what his next moves were. Jamison would not blame her one bit if she was angry with him.
Did she feel mad at him? She missed him everyday. It was certainly a lot quieter.

𝕎hen she hugged him, he effortlessly picked her up and spun them around before setting her back down. “Oh yeah, they definitely know you’re here.” Hopefully, Hana didn’t notice the alert or else this event might be going into the newsletter as well. With that in mind, he kept an eye out for her.
𝔸s she reached up to feel his hair, he leaned down to help her out. “Yeah, it’s amazin’ wot livin’ in a non-radioactive area will do for ya’.” And he was glad she noticed his expensive cologne as he wore it especially for her. He tilted his head at her as he licked his thumb to rub some of the ash off her face. “We’ll get you all cleaned up as well, luv.”
𝕁unkrat opened his mouth to explain how an airplane worked but then decided that it might take too long. “Yeah, they keep everything clean here. It’s amazin’ really. Oh, even my place is spotless. You’ll love it.” Spotless thanks to the maids, that was. An ear perked up as he thought he heard Hana’s voice. As casually as possible, he began leading her toward the hallway.
“𝔻on’t worry, I got ya’ an ID card. Ya’ wear it and then you can get anything ya’ want from the kitchen during normal hours. They should’ve had this locked.” And if anything was said, he would mention that little fact. At her questions, he took her hand to continue to lead her to his apartment. “Oh yeah, it’s great here. Plenty of food. Everything’s clean. And best of all… I get paid to blow shite up! Hehe!” It truly was the greatest job.
“𝕎ot about you? How have you been? Wot ya’ been up to lately?” To be honest, the only reason he regretted leaving was having to leave her behind. “I um… I missed ya’, luv.”
She’d never thought about it like that. Without the radiation to mess with them, stuff could start to heal and grow back.
