“Assemblage in Aisle 7” is painted entirely in stickers! It’s a recreation of my original oil painting but without using any of the same media. Alternative title for this is “The Most Money I’ve Ever Spent at Michael’s”
“Assemblage in Aisle 7”, stickers on corrugated plastics, 20” x 30”, 2020
I tried to animated with watercolors.
Here’s a little preview of one of the watercolor videos that I just posted on my Patreon I’ll also be filming the process for my upcoming acrylic and gouache paintings. If you become a Patron you also get access to my tutorials, including the procreate tutorial that I posted this week! For $5 a month you get all of it ~ find it here: patreon.com/loish

Capitol in Action (oil on canvas, 30” x 15”, 2018)
“This painting is a reaction to the mess that has been the American government these past few months (and years). I focused on the polarization of Congress, and the seeming powerlessness we have as voting citizens. As a side note, everyone please don’t shoot down 2020 dem nominees before they have a chance. We can’t go through another government shutdown like this again.”
I wrote the above statement in 2018. It’s still pretty true today.

More studies of my neighborhood
A tiny 8″ x 10″ study from years ago. Looking back and thinking of color relations and glow.
So fine was the morning except for a streak of wind here and there that the sea and sky looked all one fabric, as if sails were stuck high up in the sky, or the clouds had dropped down into the sea.
