What is the word count for all the previous TBS books?
Roughly:
The Bone Season: 128K
The Mime Order: 154K
The Song Rising: 115K
I suspect TBS4 will be about the same size as The Bone Season.

Do you by chance have any new information on TBS movie? How it’s coming along? Etc.? Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad they’re taking their time to get it right. But I’m a little impatient when it comes to things I love ❤️. Just wondering if you had some information you could share ☺️. I’ve been a huge fan since you were on Good Morning America when TBS was new! Stay beautiful!
Hi!
We’re actually starting again from scratch, because I don’t want the series to be a film any more. We got as far as a screenplay with 20th Century Fox, which I’m really glad to have seen – some of the Jaxon dialogue was pure gold, and there were some cracking scenes in it – but I’ve ultimately decided that The Bone Season would make a far better TV series than a film.
If this adaptation happens, I want it to be (a) reasonably close to the source material and (b) absolutely brilliant, and unfortunately I don’t think a film would allow for either of those things. The Bone Season is a big, complex series, and I know now from experience that condensing it into two-hour sittings would require so much simplification and cutting. I’d sooner it was given lots of room to breathe and expand. TV has come a long way since I sold the film rights in 2013. So that’s the dream now.
@sshannonauthor found one of my favorite books in Hebrew!!
תודה על יצירת עולם מדהים
I have a machine embroiderer and wanna do more quotes from TV shows, movies and books. It has become an addiction in a way kinda like writing has. Got any quotes u wanna see comment or send me an ask and I will try and get it some when I can but please include the fandom and who says the quote please.
A place for every book and every book in its place.

managed to get an early release copy of @sshannonauthor ’s new book!!! So excited to read through it!
Samantha, did you secretly/subtly reveal the fourth narrator's name on twitter?? 👀 beginning with an "N"? Or was that a mistake– or another character in the book?!
Ha, yes, that’s the fourth narrator. The samplers are going out and he’s in it, so I guess it won’t be secret for much longer.
So … Tané, Ead, Loth and Niclays are your four narrators.

The Priory of the Orange Tree cover reveal!! I am so excited to read this book and the cover is absolutely beautiful.
what was life like for the other voyants xhosen by rephs in tbs? we get to know how paige's living situation is, and that it's, while still undesirable, a bit better than other's. how different is it/how do other chosen voyants live around the rephs who chose them? what sort of training would they do, or what kinds of living quarters would they be given? and how were they treated?
TW for abuse.
why did Jaxon beat Paige up during the Antoinette fight even though he probably knew full well it was his mollisher and she was captured by the Rephaim?
Because he’s a horrible person.
Update: Bones Under Magdalen 2.0
Hi everyone,
Due to technical difficulties, the original Bones Under Magdalen was deleted. I was incredibly devastated when this happened, but luckily, I was able to keep the name. I put a lot of work into this blog and I hope that I can build it up again. I want to thank everyone that followed my page. The Bone Season books mean so much to me and It’s lovely to talk with others that are invested in them, too.
Thanks for understanding. It’s nice to be back. Welcome back to Scion.
