The artist sighs, leaning against his lover's form. Jhin appeared to be somewhat disturbed by something and it didn't take long before he shared what was on his mind. "I stumbled upon a female darkin here the other day. She was rude." The man who had murdered countless dared to say.

Kaiden knew something was up, but didn't say anything till the other decided to finally share what was bothering him, and he couldn't help but be shocked.

"... A Darkin? You met a Darkin. I... Don't think they're supposed to be pleasant, dear."

Picks up his artist boyfriend. Soft tired grumbling. Kaiden isn't exactly being subtle with the fact he wants attention, but he wasn't sure how to word it, so he just acted. Of course he made sure Jhin wasn't startled. He didn't feel like getting stabbed or anything today. -mageofsteel

The sudden act wasn’t exactly something that the artist expected. I mean, let’s be honest here, Jhin is not short by any means and his feet rarely leaves the ground spontaneously. Being picked up like a damn princess wasn’t on his daily schedule but having a partner sure changed things.

Jhin might not have been startled, but he did tense up - not to mention surprised! Blinking, the artist tilted his head to the side with a smile. “Heh…darling, what are you up to?” He hummed and allowed himself to be carried, one arm resting around the other male’s neck.

The marksman could see that his dearest was in distress, but he couldn’t figure out why. “What’s wrong?” Jhin asked, voice soft as silk. @mageofsteel

Even when Kaiden and Jhin got much older, Kaiden would most likely still be as needy as ever. He had been starved of affection like this for ages before he'd met the man, and he couldn't help but be almost addicted for the touches and other small things. It always made him melt, really, or at least usually.

Kaiden didn't know that Jhin could read him easily, in all honesty. Or maybe he simply chose not to know. He didn't like being vulnerable, or appearing weak, especially to those he loved or cared about, and he always feared his weaknesses being used against him. So he never really worded any problems he had. He didn't like to, or want to.

With a soft sigh, he couldn't help but melt slightly as their lips met, the soft and sweet kiss making him hold Jhin just a bit closer.

"Honestly... I don't know what I'd like to do. I made dinner hours ago... But I can reheat it, if you'd like? A fire is going in the fireplace, too... But you're probably tired from travelling. Would you like to lay down, instead...? Unless you have any other ideas." He spoke gently, not caring what Jhin chose to do. He just wanted to be with him.

It didn't matter how many times Jhin hurt him. He knew it wasn't really Jhin... At least. He was fairly certain it wasn't really Jhin, when he hurt him. It was him, but it wasn't what Jhin wanted, when he'd lash out at Kaiden.

It was a complicated matter.

Well at least he wasn't pushed away. That was the last thing he wanted, and he did manage a gentle smile as Jhin spoke, gently pressing a kiss to his partners cheek, once more unsure of how to word what he wanted to say. But actions couldn't really explain his feelings, so he spoke simply.

"Just tired, that's all. Missed you. Sorry for picking you up without saying anything... I just. Wanted to. I can put you down if you'd like?" He honestly didn't really want to let go of him. He felt like if he did, he'd go away and be gone for months again, leaving Kaiden to sit in anxious silence, scared he'd never come back to him. He always had up to this point obviously.... But some day he might not.

The thought scared him.

"Don't worry about me." He gave a reassuring smile, another few kisses planted along Jhin's face.

Kaiden couldn't help the small teasing smile on his face as he tilted his head that was resting on his arms, which were folded under his head. Laying on the bed of Garen's apartment on his stomach, he looked anything but innocent in truth. Garen was getting up to leave to go get dressed for a meeting, but Kaiden was feeling a little lonely in all honesty.

"Looking at you like what? I'm just watching you..." His voice was rough, a little tired but he kind of wish Garen didn't have to leave. He shifted, rolling over to go onto his back, eyes never leaving the cop. "I don't want you to go."

A soft pout, and puppy dog eyes followed, reaching out.
