Hey there Mr Marvin. Hows Hogwarts treating you?
Yo, Karen! Fine, everything's fine! In fact, I'm a little bored. Been thinking about getting something exciting going around here. Heh.
Anything new with you? How's uh, how's Mal doing?

Boarding Bros ||Marvin&Jaime||
Jaime wasn’t bad at skateboarding, he was actually pretty decent. The thing that kept him separate from most other skateboarders though was that he didn’t have any special tricks or abilities. Hell, he didn’t even understand much of the ‘skateboarder talk’, it was all a confusing mess to him. Though being a devoted Ravenclaw, he always wanted to learn and test new ideas. If only he had someone who could teach him something cool.
Slowly walking around on the quiet 3d floor, the kid adventured aimlessly. It was always quiet there, so he never had to worry about someone see him talking to ‘himself’. Then he heard someone… well… Skateboarding. They must have been at it for a little bit too, because Jaime could smell a small hint of sweat in the air through his overly sensitive nose. He was going to leave whoever it was alone, but curiosity got the better of him. The 5th year cautiously tip toed closer and closer to the hall where he assumed the possible stranger was.
Apparently, the Hispanic kid turned the corner just in time. “Dios mio…” He whispered in awe at the sight of Marvin doing what seemed to be impossible.
“Eso fue… Increíble…” (That was… Incredible…) Jaime said a bit louder than before. “I-I mean, that was really cool ese..! I mean dude!” He stumbled over his English words with difficulty, occasionally accidentally adding Spanish out of habit. He didn’t really know why he was being so nervous around Marvin, they were both in Ravenclaw. Maybe it was because Marvin was cool in his eyes. Really cool.
Marvin nearly jumped out of his skin at the sound of a voice echoing down the corridor and defensively hid his skateboard behind his back. But when he heard the awe-struck mumblings of a fellow student, he relaxed and observed this new comer. Ah, Jaime Reyes. He was a pretty chill bloke. A bit odd, but Marvin liked odd. In his opinion, people tend to like other people for the qualities they have in common. So Jaime was alright in his book.
Marvin laughed and looked away from the adoring gaze of the younger Ravenclaw, flattered by the accidental audience to his success. "Well thanks, man! I'm just lucky I nailed it, otherwise you would've witnessed a pretty spectacular fail!"
"I know it's kind of a Muggle thing but uh, do you ever, uh, board?" Marvin asked, humbly trying to turn the conversation away from himself.
Boarding Bros ||Marvin&Jaime||
Marvin particularly liked skateboarding in the 3rd floor corridor whenever possible. There were those rare occasions when other students and sometimes even teachers were gathered, but for the most part the hallway was abandoned in the early evening. No classrooms nor offices lined this location, which made it a perfect straightaway for practicing new board tricks indoors. If he didn't have to practice out in the frigid grounds, he'd definitely avoid it.
Straightening his goggles and smirking a bit at the thought of what he was about to attempt, Marvin went over the move in his mind. Can't be that hard, right?
Before he could let his confidence deflate, he mounted his board and started to gain momentum. It was almost effortless given that he'd been enchanting his skateboard since he found out he was a wizard. Up to speed in no time, Marvin launched himself into the air, leaving his board hovering behind him. He knew that once he reached the top of his trajectory it'd be time for the true test. Without uttering a sound, Marvin summoned his skateboard whilst in mid-flip to place itself precisely where he wanted to land. Nailing the landing, the Prefect let out a victorious whoop and slowed to a stop at the other end of the hallway.
He was so distracted with celebrating his first successful attempt at using wordless magic while boarding that he didn't notice the astonished figure that had appeared around the corner.
I'm feeling popular today!
Must be my........SWAG.

Well well well… Marvin White.
-chokes on own spit- TUPPENCE...Uh, sorry, I'll, uhhh...I'll get out of your way...
-starts to duck away-
Still trying to charm your way out of a paper bag, I see.
If only you had a personality or was man enough to actually pull it off.
Was that supposed to be an insult? I think you should just stick to pranks, West. You were having more success with those.
