The Beginning

Hello to everyone who sees this. A little backstory I guess on what this blog is about. My childhood bestfriend (Sapphier) and I used to fill notebooks (emphasis on that "-s") of comics and random kid stuff back in fourth to sixth grade. So as the notebook pages yellowed and we grew up, those comics became a sort of memento on how life was awesome as a kid. -- Since Sapphier and I recently reconnected (yay!), I managed to convince her to scan the old notebooks. However! As how time usually is, we lost the notebook where she created the second comic, "Midnight Forest" - so sadly, there will be confusion and a big gap in the lore. So, this blog is meant to fully immortalize these comics as we upload each scanned page weekly (since there's nothing as permanent as posting it on the internet right?) -- and hopefully, making a few people smile and reminisce about their own childhood comics. That's all. We will begin posting the first comic series: "Lock Out?" every Tuesday, starting tomorrow!

Lock out? - part 4 (pp. 1-2)

[Narration] ---MORE YEARS LATER Bolt had ruled the forest for many years, however the hunters continued to pursue them. Even though they placed traps, many had still injured their kind. As king, Bolt decided to do something about it after seeing the situation first hand. As such, he consulted with one of his fox citizens to build him a spaceship to the moon. On the moon he discovered a strange metal enclosed dome with a forest. Which gave him a brilliant idea. He quickly left the moon and returned home. There he installed new security mechanisms, traps, and more. One of which was a metal door between the gate of the forest. A hunter came by and was confused by the doors, but he still tried to open them. He got through the first security measure, and the second, got irritated at the third, but was eventually burned alive. This had proven that the new security measure could keep hunters out! However something terrible happened! Remember when Bolt went to the moon? He didn't actually go alone, he went with one other fox, which had died on the way back. This fox had left behind a son and his wife… On the other hand, Bolt got married! Had a happy honeymoon with his love and eventually they had a daughter. Sadly, Bolt's wife also died not long after giving birth to their daughter. Now widowed, Bolt often spent his time looking at his daughter's drawings of lions and himself. Eventually he meets a young Lightning Fox dressed up as a lion in a nearby playground. He later learns that the Lightning Fox was a fake! It was actually a Love Fox dressed up as a Lightning Fox. The Love Fox apologized for pretending to be a Lightning Fox and in that moment Bolt saw a vision. The vision was of the Love Fox becoming the next ruler. And so he forgave the young fox and even gave him a portion of his Lightning powers. THE END?

Lock out? - part 3 (p. 2)

[Narration] They finally arrive in Canada, Bolt quickly jumps off and tries to find his mom. He travels far and wide and eventually finds himself in a Zoo, where he sees his mom stuck in a cage. Bolt threatens the people crowding his mom and breaks her out of her cage. Bolt and his mom then proceed to kill the other people who had caused their separation. After a while, they were able to free all the captured creatures. The normal fox was also reunited with her dad which had been captured by crazy people. Bolt was then chosen to become the ♕ KING ♕ of Canada Forest. THE END?

Lock out? - part 3 (p. 1)

[Narration] The scene shows an event happening in Canada, with a bearded man making a speech. However, unbeknownst to the people an angry Lightning Fox was about to strike. She came out of the forest and attacked the people but was captured by a strange man in a pirate hat. The pirate's friend saw this and quickly looked for a reporter to share that his friend had captured a rare fox. Of course, the reporters quickly came, with cameras and microphones at the ready. ---Back with Emo boy and Bolt… The two were just watching TV when the channel suddenly showed the discovery of a new fox! A Lightning Fox! Bolt immediately recognized the other Lightning Fox to be his mother! He quickly convinced Emo boy to call his sister. The sister arrives a few days later with the normal fox. The normal fox and Bolt converse with each other. They learn that each of them had actually been separated from their parents and so they suspect that they may have been held captive in Canada. So they make the decision to abandon the Emo Siblings and save their families. Bolt takes the initiative and breaks their collars off. The two foxes then proceed to hijack the airplane and fly to Canada themselves.

Lock out? - part 2 (pp. 1-2)

[Narration] ---YEARS LATER Emo boy (the boy with emo hair), can be seen with his pet fox, which is actually the Lightning Elemental Fox, Bolt, saying goodbye to his sister Emo girl (the girl with long emo hair), who also has a pet fox of her own. Bolt watches as the airplane leaves. Seeing the other fox made him feel sad that his family had been split apart. The normal fox can be seen thinking about the Lightning Fox. She was surprised to see him there. After all, it's super rare to see even one Elemental Fox. Another scene shows another normal fox who is also sad and thinking about his family, and another Lightning Fox in Canada who seems to be happy with her life. However, it is revealed that the plain fox was living a difficult life in an abusive environment with two crazy people. Could there be a hidden meaning with the other Lightning Fox too?

Lock out? - part 1 (p.4)

[Narration]

---PRESENT TIME "So what? You took too long to ask me that I don't even remember!" The Nature Fox explained after MS1 confronted him about knowing. "Then we'll help you remember!" MS1 (who was no longer stuck in a wheel chair), with the help of one of his workers (the guy with bandaged eye), puts a mind reading device on the Nature Fox which then shows them his memories. It first showed them a scene where the Water Fox and Legendary Fox could be seen having a conversation, but it was too muffled and unclear to clearly hear what they were saying. The camera suddenly changes to a scene of people, they were having fun with food, and for some reason MS1 was in the memory (MS1 was being excluded from the party). MS1 was confused, and looked to see that the mind reading device had been placed on his worker! When he turned around he found a portal, which led him to conclude that the Nature Fox had escaped through it. They quickly entered the portal and found themselves in another dimension, where they saw the Legendary Fox! So they foxnapped him and returned back to their dimension. They trapped him and MS1 decided that he wanted to make this fox a "Legendary Killer"! ---TIME SKIP A bandit came in and killed MS1, to take over the throne and rule along with the Legendary Fox. THE END?

Lock out? - part 1 (p. 3)

[Narration] 103 years later, in a lab, people continued to work on various experiments. The descendants of the originally mad scientist can be seen conversing with each other. One was in a wheel chair (MS1) and the other was in crutches (MS2), after they got into an unknown accident. MS2 quickly recovered and had the great idea of trying to track down the elemental foxes to get their ruler, the Legendary fox! They created one plan, but that failed quickly. So they went with a 2nd plan, and that was to kidnap the Nature Fox and force him to tell them where the Legendary Fox was. However, the Nature Fox refused to cooperate, no matter what torture he had to endure. The Nature Fox argues that he didn't even know where the Legendary Fox was. But MS1 has proof that he does know. ---BACKFLASH The Nature Fox was feeling weak one day, and ran into a random person. That random person, was actually a secret worker of MS1 and MS2, who was given a recording device, the OdoNMP. The random person tricked the fox into thinking that he could be cured if he met the Legendary Fox. But Nature Fox had forgotten where their ruler was, but he did remember that his cousin, the Water Fox, had a great memory and most likely new where their ruler was. So he went to ask his cousin. The random person had followed him, but had to keep a safe distance away from the two to not get caught. So he cornered the Nature Fox after his conversation with the Water Fox and captured him.

Lock out? - part 1 (pp. 1-2)

[Narration] Once upon a time, there were five elemental foxes. Lightning, Water, Fire, Love, and Nature. These five elements kept balance in the world. However, there was a mad scientist who wanted more power, and thus he conducted an experiment. An experiment that went wrong and created HIM. The ruler of the five elements, the king of them all. The Legendary Fox. The mad scientist wanted to store them all away, in The Tomb. Forever sealed away. However, one day, a stray fox stumbled upon a strange device, that changed things forever.
