The character of Nettles was always kind of a whatever character for me, but seeing why Ryan and Sarah say they chose to not include her is hilariously silly to me...they didn't want Daemon to cheat on Rhae-Rhae...but have no issue with Ole Rhae having feelings towards Misaria and Alicent...or whatever is going on there.
Also, seeing what most people are saying about Nettles not being included, and why she was an important and interesting character, it's interesting that Condal and Hess read Nettles and their only takeaway was that Deamon cheated on their special girl.
i agree with this take, i def think that it's mostly becuz they have a sorta bias towards team black, (saying this as a team black myself) but i also find the idea of rather than daemon cheating on rhaenyra being the big betrayal, it's him defending his daughter. His daughter who hes failed to protect so far.
if he does indeed flee like he does with nettles in the book, and instead its for rhaena protection i feel like thats a more compelling story. He's trying to do laena right by protecting their girls.
