Seems like this London trip around this time of the year really IS tradition now.
At least Hanna is going to be in for a big surprise for his Birthday & Conrad? Well not so much since last time THAT happened, we came home with an…additional tiny member of our team. Then again, who knows what will happen. Fingers crossed that it’s manipulating him into doing his Michael Jackson impression again.

Please don’t say that Mo is a black widow, that sounds like bad news for me. But other than that, I don’t see anything wrong with that song variation.
You only have to worry about it if you guys get married, and even then, you're technically already dead so does that even count?

…*Now he’s SO narrowing his eyes. Ever so slowly closing the door to his condo, folding his arms and just staaaaring at Hanna with the box between the two so he can keep that in his view as well. Now it’s sounding like his guess was close, for once, and he’s NOT liking it.* Please DO explain. Just about now would be great. *He only spends a second glancing around the room before his finest piercing glare locks back in Hanna behind the box.* I assume he’s around? He’s never NOT around. And he’ll probably come when I need something so that he can sit on it. Either Willow or the G.A.C. will. Explanation. Now. Stop messing with that box until I know exactly what I’m getting myself into.
Whoa whoa whoa. He lifted his hands up in the air, still gripping the pocket knife. He snuffled his feet over each other nervously. It was like being a kid again with a parent who had just caught him in the act of something he KNEW he shouldn't be doing. He found himself tapping his index fingers together, yelping when he almost stabbed himself before quickly setting the knife back down on the table.
"I was out doing some rounds of a nearby neighborhood. Y'know, business has been slow lately, that kind of thing? And I headed into that trailer park off of West, the one that's been abandoned for a few years now. So I was walking around there and I heard this noise nearby, like something was crying out, you know?"
He reached down and pet the box. "Annnnnnnyway, I followed the sound and--" Quick, get it out fast-- "IfoundtheseguysandtheyfollowedmehomeandIneedhelpIthinktheyneedsomethingtomoveoncanyoucallWillowplease?"

*Well, Hanna’s acting normal enough, so he’ll cross out - hah! - the possibility of sudden undeath and any sort of DIRE emergency. Maybe he’d be a little more suspicious about the jacket if he could actually tell how hot the weather may currently be. But he can’t.* *That box, however, is beginning to gain all of his suspicious attention now. Enough that he isn’t even making sure that Hanna’s being careful with his furniture. There’s runes on that box. And holes. There is either some MEAN paperwork in there, or…* Please tell me you’re not bestowing another ghost pet upon me. Because I THINK I’ll have to decline.
The color was returning to his face since he had stopped touching the box. He sat up abruptly.
"Look, I came to see you, but I also came--is Willow around? Does he come when you call him?" He fumbled around in his pockets until he pulled out a small knife and started working at the tape.
"It's really important. Just--errrr... I can totally explain."
And yet he offered nothing.
Hanna arrived at Conrad's house well after midnight, hoping that his friend would be awake and at home. Shifting the large box he was holding from one hand to another, he reached up and rubbed his eyes. He hadn't looked in a mirror lately, and it was probably for the best--he looked like hell, his complexion paler than usual and large bags under his eyes. He was struggling just to stand up. Eh, no time like the present. He leaned in and knocked.
*Geez, of course he’s awake, he doesn’t sleep in THAT badly, not even in summer. Though Hanna is in luck that Conrad is, in fact, at home. He’d been thinking about taking a walk, a small break from staring at too many screens for too long today, and as he opens the door to see a Hanna who, by the looks of it, might or might not have joined the leagues of the undead, he’s almost inclined to walk him right back out for a checkup.**But instead he just stares at the ginger and his box, attempting to figure out the situation in front of him, ready to either move out of the way and let him in, take that box before Hanna falls over entirely, OR get ready for any sort of insanity that might suddenly unfold, as tends to be the case with that guy.*Jesus Christ Hanna, what chewed YOU up tonight?
Oh thank god he was home. He pushed past him as politely as he could and set the box on the table, as gently as he could. Despite the hot weather he was wearing a jacket.
It was a standard cardboard box, but it was taped shut, the tape covered in quickly scribbled runes, and the sides of the box itself bearing at least a dozen similar symbols. There was at least one puncture in the top of the box, where something sharp had gotten only partway through the material before completely opening it.
Hanna moved his hands around it a few times, checking to make sure everything was where it should be, everything was fine. And then, satisfied, he turned and practically fell onto the couch cushions.
"Chewed me up? Heh...nothing chewed me up, Conrad. But thank you very much for answering the door. I truly appreciate it."
It was storming horribly outside when Hanna finally made it to Worth's clinic. He gasped and pushed the door to let himself in. "W-Worth?!" He stuttered, holding a towel hard against his chest. "WORTH I NEED HELP! I FUCKED UP!"
