Hello! I'm Vexi and welcome to my silly little oc blog! I won't keep this too long, but here are some rules and regulations for interacting with this blog!

I am almost 27, so I do not feel comfortable writing with minors. As such, this blog will be 18+.

All artwork on this blog was commissioned by me for its use here. Please do not repost anywhere else.

I am iconless and do not format my text to make this blog accessible to everyone. I mirror the length I am given, ranging from one liners to adv. lit / novella replies.

I am highly private and mutuals only for my own comfort. Please do not send me asks, like my roleplay threads, or like starter calls if we are not mutuals. That said, my dms are open for possible interactions with other rp blogs! I will not be interacting with personal blogs, but they are free to like my positivity posts!

Shipping is possible, given the right chemistry, but Jestrix thrives on platonic relationships. There will be no NSFW present in the form of smut because I am uncomfortable putting Jestrix in those situations.

I am open to dark and horror based themes so with triggers I will make sure to tag what I can! Please let me know if you need something specific tagged.

With a flourish of colorful confetti and the aroma of saltwater taffy, the strange creature appeared....and they were wearing a bandana around their eyes that was striped in purple and white.

"Hello, new friend!" Jestrix exclaimed, spinning around a pair of multicolored nunchucks that seemed to be made of paper mache. "I am here to learn kung-fu!"

What I hear in my head when Jestrix's snoot is booped.

“Oh, there’s nothing wrong at all with being silly.” Jestrix stated matter-of-factly, snapping their talons. A pair of large glasses appeared out of thin air on their face, and they pushed them up with a soft sniff. “Laughing from silliness has many benefits! Did you know laughing can actually reduce blood pressure? Lower stress hormones? Reset the nervous system?”

Another snap of their digits and the glasses vanished, arms dropping to their sides and swaying listlessly. That ever-present smile of benevolence didn’t budge at all across their snout.

“I like Trix! You can call me that! Anytime, anywhere!” It sounded, obviously, like the word tricks. Which was one of their favorite things to perform in front of a new friend, or even an audience. That way they could feed two birds with one sunflower seed!

“As for how I know you? Well, that’s a little complicated.” Jestrix tittered out a chuckle that had a tinge of nervousness to it, tapping their index claws together. “I feel things very strongly. Such as other people’s feelings. Their woes and sorrows, or their delight and joy! I get sensations that help me deduce a few things about them, but nothing that feels important.”

They cocked their head to one side, their smile softer than it had been before. “I sensed you needed a friend. So if you’ll let me, I’d like to learn more about you.”

Their tail thumped on the ground (much to Tinker’s apparent dismay), while the otherworldly jester-thing rested upon their stomach. They had their lower jaw resting in one of their paws, staring at Hoops with barely restrained excitement.

“Wowie! If I had a nickle for every time I knew a cosmic entity that took the form of a circus performer, I would have two nickles!” They blinked once, twice, crooked grin growing. “Strange that its happened twice, but I’m so happy to meet a kindred soul!”

With a flash of sparkles and confetti, they twisted their shape into their more humanoid form. It was a shape they rarely used, mostly because they felt that it lacked the whimsy and wonder of what they preferred to look like. But it seemed fitting to change now.

“Even our color palette is similar!” Jestrix sat up with almost frightening speed, crossing one leg over the other. “We’re twins!”

“Turn that frown upside down!”

The voice resonated like a crack of thunder in the previous, serene silence. And as if on cue, Jestrix appeared, their colorful body manifested upside down in front of Gangle. They flashed a grin, exposing their teeth—which were…odd.

They weren’t sharp, nor blunted. The edges were rounded like they had been worn down after ages of sucking on rocks. And they glowed in strange, striped colors like a bizarre form of candy corn. “Hiya!” The jester-thing chirped, spinning in a vertical circle five times in a row.

“I’ve been waiting to meet you, ya’ know! I’m so happy I finally get to make you happy!”

The spinning ceased, and they tapped their chin with a purple talon, taking in the sights of the circus. “Wowie! I’ve never been to a circus like this one before! I’m not too tech-savvy…But hopefully they still have sweet treats!”

“I love music!” Jestrix crooned, placing a paw atop their chest and puffing it out with a hint of pride. “I’m actually something of a musician myself, you know.” His next question gave them pause, blinking their strange, swirling eyes. “Well, I don’t know if I would call it a hobby, but my favorite thing is to make people happy. I find joy in whatever brings them joy, so…”

“You’re hurt. Do you need help?”

“That’s a fine ___ (cloak/hat/book/etc.). Where did you get it?”

“This might sound strange, but can I hide behind you for a moment?”

“You look like you could use a friend.”

“I think your dog just stole my lunch.”

“Hey, you dropped your coin purse.”

“I think we’re stuck in here together.”

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to overhear, but…”

“Are you the new neighbor?”

“First time in town?”

“I’m not sure if this belongs to you, but…”

“You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”

“I’ve been hearing a lot about you.”

“Do you mind if I join you?”

“I think you’re in the wrong place.”

“You seem… out of place.”

“Don’t take this the wrong way, but are you following me?”

“That was a close call.”

“Not to alarm you, but someone’s watching you.”

“Mind if I walk with you?”

“You look like you’re in trouble.”

“Was that your doing back there?”

“You don’t look like you’re from around here.”

“That was impressive. How’d you manage it?”

“I’m guessing you’re not here by accident.”

“Do I want to know what just happened?”

“You might want to keep your voice down.”

“Is it always this strange around here?”

“I have a feeling we’re about to become acquainted whether we like it or not.”

“Looks like we’re in this together now.”

In a puff of multicolored smoke that smelt strongly of buttercream frosting, the strange creature appeared. They hovered in the air for a moment before they floated in playful circles around the young man, the energy rolling off of them almost electric from how powerful it was.

The incredibly excited energy, of course!

“Hi new friend!” The odd jester-thing said, the bells on their body jingling as they moved. “I’ve been waiting to meet you! I’m the magical and mystical Jestrix!”
