I drew some skulls yesterday as seasonal clip art for my Seasonal Magic book and am really pleased with them.
I was inspired by Molly Roberts' video about her ephemera - she showed an image transfer of a cool skull and I wanted to do that too!
Last night I transferred them to a lino block and carved and printed them. Today, I printed them with a big printer (you have to use one with toner, not ink) and covered them with the packing tape and soaked them in warm water. It worked! It's the first time I tried it and it worked!
SO fun. I recommend. You can use the process for anything, including magazine pictures.

Made some linocuts of this hex sign I've had on my wall since 1993 and painted them. These won't go up for sale on my site but other than one particular use, I'm not sure what to do with all of them.
Bought this pendant with the love sign on it a few years ago.

These old original promo shots for the website are well over a year old. This weekend, I'll be shooting entirely new ones. I'm leaning toward a yellow theme.

I got this yellow fluorite sphere at my second favorite crystal shop in town and just wanted to share it.

The first step of making a linocut - drawing it out. I'm making a linocut of this Pennsylvania Dutch Hex Sign.
Sacred House, Turkey (This, friends, is a bathtub)
This week's blog post is all about the maximalist, magical public spaces that I know of but I have never yet gotten to visit.
Breathtaking spaces include a massive Archangel Michael sculpture over a large fireplace in one of the bedrooms, bathing tubs not to be believed, stone walls, and endless fine art.
All of the states that The Magic Attic Art Co. has sold to - and one digital download to Columbia!

This is The Baby Grand Hotel in Coronado.
Animal print and lots of mirrors and much more.
