âWhat competition? That lot? The pale in comparison to our award winning combination of beauty and power! Weâre to be wed, after all!â
"R-right! We're nearly indestructible!"
"... But what are we going to do with this grail after we get it, anyways?"
âShall we?â

"Of course!"
"Let's trounce the competition, Lancer!"
"And weâve only just met after so long, old friend. Have you only brought me your life as a gift?"
"That holy trinket is here? Mumumu, very well, then..."
"If Lancer wishes to claim it, then we'll take that grail for our own!"
Well⊠that wasnât how sheâd expected Alice to react to a marriage proposal. Though upon reflecting, she supposed it wasnât that odd⊠Still, what else could she do outside of scooping up her girlfriend, along with the ring, and carrying her home.
When Alice would wake next, sheâd find herself in bed, with the Eirei cuddling close, watching her sleep, ring on the bedside table. Sleep wasnât a necessity for her, after all.
âW-Was that a no!?â
   Eyes flitting open, the magician immediately sat up, looking right at the other as she quickly asked the question. And... for a moment, she was still speechless.
"E--"
"Elizabeth... I..."
   And just as suddenly, her face reddened once more.
"I-it's not a no! I just... I-I wasn't... expecting it."
Ahhh, Pog (Kiara-mun) was nice enough to draw a picture of Lancer and Alice! Theyâve been dating for 7 or 8 months now and this is the first art weâve had of them and itâs really cute! So a big thank you to her!
âSpeechless, I see! This humble castle was my home so very long ago!â Dramatically extending her arms in a welcoming manner, the quickly closed again over the microphone. âAnd we were discussing the other day that youâd yet to hear me perform, werenât we? I suppose thereâs no better time than now!â No, she had to, under this pale summer moon. Things were just right, thereâd be no better opportunity.
And what followed was a song that wasnât terrible, per say, but⊠Well, Elizabeth had a nice voice, but actual skill⊠It was passable. Sheâd eventually take a bow with the castle as the backdrop. âI have one more thing to show you that Iâve never shown you before, so⊠catch!â
Lancer tossed an object, small as it was, with deadly accuracy at the magician. Moving under the moonlight, it would appear to be nothing more than a glint, but upon closer examination⊠a ring.
The words that followed could be heard loud and clear through the street of Sector 006, spoken by an arrogant princess that had adorned the face of a bashful child.
âAlice Margatroid⊠Will you marry me?â
   Not particularly realizing there were speakers, Elizabeth's voice brought the magician back to reality as she snapped out of it-- opening out her mouth to speak, but being unable to as the other soon tossed her a ring of all things.
   Catching it easily, the magician took a pause, staring at it with reddening cheeks, unsure of what to say at first.
"A... a ring? This is... But-- but, why--"
   And while undoubtedly the other couldn't hear Alice, she could certainly hear Lancer. Especially as she spoke her next words, blasted all across the district:
âAlice Margatroid⊠Will you marry me?â
   Those words completely and utterly floored her.
   Pausing, mouth opened ajar, Alice stared at the servant who stood ahead of her at the stage with a cherry red face and widened eyes. Her whole body was frozen, right then and there. And slowly...
   Slowly...
   ...
   She fell over.
âHmm⊠So I havenât shown you? One moment!" Grasping her lance in both hands, the Eirei slammed it into the ground, a pair of draconic wings erupting from her back as she jumped onto the raised tip of her weapon. Behind her, a low rumbling sounded as a castle seemingly rose up from the ground, upturning the street and earth around it. Of course, the castle itself looked more like a giant speaker than anything.
âSo, what do you think? Pretty grandiose, huh?" Her voice was amplified by a microphone that she now grasped in her hand.
   It was the first she had heard of any castle other than the one she had been imprisoned in many years ago. And now, actually seeing a gigantic castle rise up from the earth before her very eyes...
   Alice was utterly speechless.
   And where did those wings come from?!
âGrimoireâŠ? A book? Do I have anything⊠Oh! I can summon my castle, I suppose Iâve never shown you thatâŠâ
âAnd I wouldnât actually hurt you!â
"C-Castle? Really? ... Anyways, my grimoire is a last resort, anyways."
"... And I'm glad for that. I don't suppose you could move a little slower so I could keep up, then?"
âSpar? ⊠I wouldnât mind.â
âAnd itâs danmaku, Elizabeth. Thatâs what we all fought with, back at home. ⊠Of course, I donât need danmaku to actually fight.â
âDanmacânâcheese, danmaku, same thing!â Not really. âAnd I know! You have your dolls too! But Iâm way more durable, and waaaaaay faster than a normal person. Iâm not too concerned! Unless⊠youâre hiding a super, secret power?â
"... That's true. I'd have to ask you to go easy on me, then. Unless you want to pummel me in to the ground, for some reason... and, ah..."
"Secret? Hm. Well, there is my grimoire..."
âOh? Want to spar?â
âThough I donât know how effective your abilities will be! Especially that one⊠what was it called? Danmacânâcheese?â
"Spar? ... I wouldn't mind."
"And it's danmaku, Elizabeth. That's what we all fought with, back at home. ... Of course, I don't need danmaku to actually fight."

"Granted, at home, a system was developed for everyone to fight without killing eachother. Humans and youkai could arguably fight on the same level. Just don't go too crazy, I suppose."

âHow am I supposed to do that!? All Iâm good for is fighting and killing, and I canât very well whip out my Noble Phantasm and kill off 1000 people at once!â
