sry i dont have anything of huge import to contribute to tumblr lately but i did adjust gunn's ingame appearance to better match how i draw him/how he's Supposed to look and im extremely happy with him. my handsome guy

also his lore has been undergoing a huge rewrite idk i'll post that eventually 💔

these are all 'canon' in a sense with how mists lore works, but also because gunner is a bit of a messed up omnipresent spliced cosmic horror entity whose various parts aren't aware of one another. i ❤️ my tyrian SCP and drawing him cute and tiny

common threads and whatnot:

the vivid blue of his eyes/teeth/insides keeps deepening the more he's exposed to wild magic, which happens to all gunners EXCEPT worlds where his collider didn't blow

commander gunner has it the worst of all with that

independently, subd gunn's team and commander gunn's destiny's edge both nickname him 'such 'gunner' due to his intense goal-focused personality and tendency to chomp at the bit. he just rolls over and accepts it listlessly

both subd and comm (and defector) have astralaria and eikasia

most of his universes end up needing to turn to some form of augmentation or magical device to compensate for his bizarre flux bomb esque ley energy affliction

all roads are going to lead to rome eventually and this man is going to someday destabilize into something horrible and permanently mists-bound like razah but we're still workshopping that. shhhh.

Submitting these for GW2's fashion wars contest!

Inzra's whole design concept is based on Scandinavian folklore and old Nordic culture. First of all, I imagine she's a fairy from Swedish folklore and fairies are depicted wearing white dresses to symbolize mist, hence her paleness. So I took the idea of that and added a viking aesthetic with the Woodland Kodan Leather Shoulders and Gloves skins since they give runestone vibes. And I love how well the Lightborne Greatsword match them.

And her pink "hair" leaves and Imperial Everbloom infusion ties her to Tyria through the cherry blossom trees in the Shiverpeaks, and her being associated with the Shiverpeaks is another hint towards her Nordic inspirations.

And my headcanon is that her Icy Demon Horns were a gift from Aurene from the epilogue chapter of End of Dragons, and the crystal covered shoes is also meant to be a hint towards her being Aurene's Champion.

She's a warrior fairy, basically!

He doesn’t emote a lot at first since he was raised to not be emotional or too expressive/easy to read (except anger that’s fine because of courrsseee 🙄🙄) but while on the surface, a lot of those mental blocks get chipped away at. I wanna get more of his genuine smiles but those are a lot rarer. Nothing to smile about in my life kind of bitch
