[he’s reading a book and minding his own business...until he sneezes and sets his book on fire] [dammit] Well there goes the rest of my evening...
iskalde:
If you’re the one who responded, then I was most likely talking to you, yes.
...okay then. [steps outside and shuts the door behind him] We haven’t met.
iskalde:
@magmahearted
Ah, you, I hear you stomping around. Come sit outside. Why not join me for a drink, it’s a full moon tonight.
[pokes his head out the door] Huh? Are you talking to me?
He spends a fair amount of time in awe of the sheer size of the place. It’s astronomically big, likely the biggest house he has ever seen -- perhaps there are houses that are even bigger, but he will always be a sheltered farm boy at heart. The novelty may soon wear off with time, but for now he relishes in the feeling. And after lugging all his things up to the third floor, he sets off to explore...and promptly falls onto his ass. Typical.
Upon sitting up, he sees a stranger standing across the hallway. Of course someone had to see it, of course. “Uh...you didn’t see that happen.”
[legion reset begins here]
[sipping tea with a 'dead inside' kind of expression] You can't spell 'disappointment' without 'me'.
[wanders into the room with his nose in a book, then kinda stops and stares awkwardly at her] Oh...hi. Sorry, I didn't see you there.
[She’s coiled up in a chair, skimming through an atlas and humming at it when she finds something she doesn’t recognize.]
Oh! Hello there- Emil, you’re Emil, right?
magmahearted:
[nods] Yes, that’s me. You’re Anneliese, yes? We met some time ago.
Yes, I’m Anneliese. One of the villains. [Hums, marking her page.] It was quite awhile ago, though, I have been traveling for a time.
Yeah? That's nice. Where did you go, if you don't mind me asking?

48 degrees Celsius is my resting temperature on most days, sometimes higher on occasion…or whenever I’m sick. I guess you could say I would be…burning up. [finger guns]
48? Jesus. I’m usually somewhere around 28. Considering my heart beats at a much slower rate, I have terrible circulation and I get chest pains and can’t feel my fingertips sometimes. And the cold kind of extends from me so if you feel colder around me, you’re not the only one. It’s kind of a thing. [pfft] That makes me think of that one song, by…who was it? The modern Hansen? Jonas Brothers.
Yikes, that sounds unpleasant. [he shows his hand and allows it to heat up slightly, causing a soft glow in his palm] Well...if you're ever in need of warmth, I've got plenty to spare. Living in the cold, I know, isn't really all it's cracked up to be.

maducfantom:
Eh, that’s pretty understandable, seeing as you literally burn it off, I imagine you have a high body temp too. I’m still human and sort of alive so I eat a little, but…not even every day. And stuff sits in my stomach longer so I’ve become pretty careful about what I eat because heavy stuff, seafood, and dairy tend to feel gross when they just sit in your stomach.

[he’s staring into his mug in abject horror] I’m turning 24 in eight days...god help me...
esticviu:
[prodding an…odd coloured mixture in pan on the stove]
…I don’t think this is what’s meant to happen.
[peeks at the contents of the pan from where he’s standing] Ja, that looks like a bit of a mess...

maducfantom:
[laughs] Um, thanks. Wish I could say I picked it out myself. [he looks extremely relieved as he sits.] So, um, I don’t eat a lot; but you can get whatever you’d like.
[sinks down into his own seat looking a bit embarrassed] I might seem like a glutton to you then. My metabolism is...almost ungodly, because of my body heat, you know? I...have to eat a lot, it’s kind of...yeah...
[pokes head in] Uh, excuse me, have you seen a little white cat anywhere?
A white cat? Mmmm nope. Can’t say I’ve seen one ‘round.
chatteringcharmer:
[snorts] Tell me about it. I used to have this old grump of a thing that would pretty much do whatever the hell she wanted. [laughs] Eh, she was still a good cat though.
My amma and I had cats in our barn, to kill pests and stuff, you know? But they did not like people much...they were assholes actually. [shrugs softly] My cat here is very friendly, he is just very small and hides...far too well.

magmahearted:
Yeah…I suppose no one was creative enough to come up with something out of my name. It’s nice. [shrugs]
“Em” isn’t even that creative, it’s just chopping off half your name. [a breathy chuckle] My nickname is part of my stage name so at this point anyone calling me Adrian feels so formal and stiff, you know? [he’s leaning on his cane more as they’re walked to a booth to sit.]
Exactly. They weren't creative at all. [snickers] Makes sense. It's, uh...it's a nice name. [almost smacks himself because what the heck kind of compliment is that???]

magmahearted:
[his answering smile is very soft and awfully shy as he gathers his hands] No, no, it’s fine. I’ve just…never had a nickname like that before. I like it.
Oh. [blinks, then smiles. wow he cute] Never having a nickname like that, wow, I can’t imagine. I’m glad you like it though, that would have been awkward if you didn’t.
Yeah...I suppose no one was creative enough to come up with something out of my name. It's nice. [shrugs]
