âCatarina and you are thorns at my side.â
âI know whatâs going on.â
âAre we?â
âThen let her down easy.â

âWhat?â Wyatt stumbled out of surprise more than anything else. His sole concentration had been on his magic and performing it well. When the massive ball of energy hit him square in the chest he felt his hard work drain from him. His eyes flashed in anger, his newfound weakness made it hard to control his glamour, causing his tail to suddenly whipped out angrily besides him. âWho the fuck do you think you are? Both of you!â
Magnusâs eyes glowed gold, the black now only the thinnest slits. âWho the fuck do you think you are?â Magnus stalked towards the younger man, rage in his voice. âYou are let out of someoneâs sight for an hour and you act like this? Are you trying to play pretend as Luke? Because no one in your family would do what I just caught you fucking doing. Reckless. Stupid. Pointless. Magic.â He was nearly yelling when he got in front of Wyatt.Â
âTalia, go get the nearest Coventry.â Talia stayed still, her eyes on the form left abandoned by the two warlocks. âTalia, NOW.â She didnât even flinch at the volume, just backed away slowly staring.Â
Magnus waited until she was out of Wyattâs attack range, before he spoke again. âWhat the hell were you attempting to do?â

necromancy-on-the-other-sideâ:
âDonât play stupid, itâs insulting. You were implying someone else.â
âMy darling Catarina?â
âBut you knew that.â

âWho is your child? Wyatt.â
âWho do you think?â

âRun⊠AwayâŠâ Wyatt growled over his shoulder to the approaching party as he continued to work his magic on the corpse laying broken beneath him.

Talia was frozen in shock. Theyâd both heard the cries, but neither one expected this. For a moment Talia thought it was a mare. The pain and terror coming from the man was like only that sheâd seen all those decades ago. Tears pricked in the corner of her eye when she looked back at Wyatt.
Magnus moved first throwing a silver ball of energy towards the boy. It hit and created a haze around his face. He then shot one more orb at the body and took the last of the manâs energy, finishing him off. âWhat the hell were you thinking?â He heard Taliaâs outcry at his killing of the man, but ignored her.

âOne more word and Iâll feed you to my children.â
âYour child is in the maze, unless youâve had a secret second family this time whole time. In which case I know someone who would be very disappointed.â
ivy--mâ:
ââWhy? Are you afraid to be alone?â
âWe only have so long on this Earth. Why would I not spend it with others as often as I could?â
ivy--mâ:
ââYeah⊠Youâre right. But is it really that bad?ââ
âIâve personally never been fond of it.â
ââWhy do I have to talk about anything?ââ
âBecause if you donât, youâll end up like Luke. Which may seem glamorous but really is probably very lonely.â
In His Office
âAre you thinking about switching over?â
âDo you want me to?â
coventrybadassâ:
âI do that every morning.â Michael said sniffing the concoction Magnus made for him. âI donât see any gray hairs and I donât remember any complaints. Ever.â
âDo you want me to?â
Magnus rolled his eyes at the sniff. âIâm sure your ego would have blocked out any regardless.â
âI would have kicked you out if I didnât.â
Driving Lessons
mymemoryofwyattâ:
âWell, Iâm not a lair⊠Can we go to the drive through? I really want a burger but you know how they are about fast food.â
âThanks? Or was that not a compliment? âCause I want to take it as one.â
Magnus shook his head and sighed. âSure. You pick where.â
âNot a compliment.â
coventrybadassâ:
âWhat is there to enjoy about sleeping your night away? The feeling of waking up because I know a better substitute.â Michael continued until his front was touching Magnus back. âAnon. Aries never brings me what I ask for.â
Magnus rolled his eyes at the line, but leaned back into Michael. âLetting your guard down? Relaxing? Dividing one day from the previous thousands?â He lazily made Michaelâs drink, placing it in his hand when it was done. âYouâll have to excuse the cherry, I donât typically stock my bar with the ingredients for old men.â His arm had slid around Michaelâs waist and inched its way closer to his ass. âAre you going to stop me from sleeping tonight, Michael?â
coventrybadassâ:
âWeâre warlocks. Sleep is an option not a necessity.â He hummed following after Magnus and hovering close by. âAn old fashioned with whiskey not broubon.â
âThank you. Itâs all Micheal.â
âAn incredibly enjoyable non-necessity.â Magnus glanced over his shoulder, sensing their usual dance was already starting. âI remember when youâd request a whiskey neat, when did you become so elaborate?âÂ
âOh, I know.â
coventrybadassâ:
âI do have a growing blue eyed, dark haired, milky skin son who consider his tan brown eyed uncle more of a father than myself and a nonexistent family business to run as a money front.â Michael smirked walking in and locking the door behind him. âSupernatural or not I still get a full 10 hours of sleep a weekâ
âYou could have simply agreed that Iâm just that good.â
âYou say that as if all the Coventrys arenât insomniacs.â He rolled his eyes and went o the bar in the living. âWhat do you want to drink?â
âYour talent of turning shade into a compliment is unmatched.â
coventrybadassâ:
âWere you expecting me to be somewhere else?â
âYou went radio silent for a minute there.â He walked past Michael, but left the door open as an invitation.Â
âIâve learned not to expect anything from you, then itâs just a pleasant surprise.â
