Anything in particular you’ve been enjoying lately ? What’s been fun ?

I’ve been REALLY loving making music. it feels so good like I can get all my ideas out instantaneously. and it’s been so interesting and fun learning a new medium, getting better at guitar and getting into the flow of writing. also been enjoying watching adventure time all the way through for the first time. and making new friends. and driving listening to new music. :-)

yessss I’m filming a studio vlog rn for youtube, I hope it becomes more of a regular thing. but I actually post videos often on my p*treon, my last video was a timelapse process video of my droplet piece! I have quite a collection growing over there of process videos, draw with me videos, even podcasts etc <3

musical artist that influences your visual work?

I love this question because musical artists really have influenced my work !!!!

caroline polachek, bjork, radiohead, modest mouse, grouplove, sufjan stevens. they are all really visually strong in my mind. also, specifically they have influenced how my art looks not just inspired me to make art while listening to them. idk why but just a few certain artists translate so visually me for me but not many !!!

Have you taken any kind of formal art class? Or are you more self taught?

I took after school art classes in middle school and high school, my teachers there really helped me to explore my style and gain confidence. In high school and after it I sought out workshops from some of my favorite artists to learn from them and support them. I also have been drawing since I was a child and taught myself a lot. I think everyone is a mix of both :-]

what weapon do you wield in combat

definitely a disproportionately big sword and I would also have huge joan of arc energy

sort of unrelated but I had a nightmare the other night that a man with a huge scythe for an arm was chasing me <:-|
